NFL Free Agency 2017

Brandon Marshall to my Giants. Good move....we need a big WR, but they still have to get a stud TE and left tackle.

Big day.

- Osweiler traded to Browns, setting up a Romo-to-Texans trade (DAL decided not to release him).

- Cousins demands a trade from WSH if long-term deal not made.

- DeSean Jackson to Bucs.

- Alshon Jeffery to Iggles.

- Johnathan Cyprien to Titans.

- Andrew Whitworth leaves CIN for Rams.

Heard it today on WBBM Chicago... Jay Cutler (38 million to clipboard QB frontin' as a starter) has been cut/released. Nobody wants to come to Chi-Town to play... even though they have millions under the cap. Though knowing that organization, they'll piss their funds on some more 2 or 3 string players.

Damn that SC boy Stephon Gilmore signed with the Patriots. I felt he really didn't live up

to the hype until last season. I also thought he was drafted to high by the Bills. He was

a very good athlete at South Carolina but at corner he got toasted some. Belicheck will

use his athleticism well.

I hope no team is dumb enough to trade for Romo. Just wait for him to be released. lol

Washington fans have been asking that since he arrived.

The franchise, one of the greatest for a generation, has been allergic to stability for the last 20 years.

We traded Brock Osweiler AND a second-round pick AND a sixth-round pick to the Cleveland Browns, and all we got in return was a fourth-round pick. And we won that trade!

It's suspected that the Browns are going to cut Osweiler.

Please don't tell me our plan is to re-sign Osweiler for a whole lot less money.

The only thing Osweiler has going for him is that he's young and tall

To be fair to Landry that was the last game of the season at home with nothing to play for because the Steelers were set as the 3rd seed. The Steelers also sat some starters for that game. The Browns were coming off their first win of the season
against the Chargers and probably were a little more jacked up for the game than the Steelers. I never wanna see Landry on the field as a starter but he is what he is a backup qb at best. 2 years is not a bad deal for a backup that has experience
in the league now and he played admirably against the Patriots in the regular season and the team looked better in that game than the shit show they put on in the AFC title game. I would take him over the last incarnation of Mike Vick we saw and other shit qb's we've had in the past like Kent Graham,Mike Tomzcak, and Brian St.Pierre

The Steelers weren't gonna give him another huge payday at his age and they feel
Vince Williams is ready now. The team will draft another inside backer. It sure would be nice if they could add Andre Levy in free agency. That guy knows how to track ball carriers. Him and Shazier would be lethal in the middle of the defense.

If they add Adrian Petersen to the mix and they stay relatively healthy the rest of the league will be playing for second.

Plus he was the highest paid player on defense I do believe. Could help in resigning Bell.

Yes Steelers haven't had a good QB combo in a long time. Maybe O'Donell/Stewart???

Yup, they just keep retooling, if they stay healthy who in the AFC can beat them?

The Steelers usually don't sign 1st tier free agents. It would shock the hell
out of me if a deal got done.

They take undervalued or "low-stock" vets to fill needs without sacrificing the volume of picks they hold year in year out. Those reasons -- and 12 -- are why they advance at least to the AFC title game every year.

The team to meet and beat them in the conference title game has to have a hot QB, a decent running game and a front four that can generate a consistent rush. And no team in the AFC can check all those boxes right now.

Exactly. They got Brown, Bryant, Hamilton, Rogers, Ayers, Heyward Bey and Coats. Also TE Jessie James and Bell can catch too
