It may seem from my previous comments that I am down on marriage. Quite the opposite. I am a happy member of the institution for >20 years now.

But I do see some of Queen's logic. In the US (and I'm guessing the Western Civilizations) marriage is not seen as the be all and end all of human existance. Our population is beginning to consider a "single life" as a lifestyle.

People who decide to take the step to marriage should be cognizant of themselves, their needs, and their boundaries before taking on another person (and the inevitable emotional baggage from the two of you that will come along for the ride)

A sense of humor is a requirement!!!!

not so sure about that...that clearly depends on how many times he has to say those words....a man that has to repeatedly say "i am sorry" or "its my fault", doesnt necessarily mean he's worth keeping...it just means he is a habitual fuck-up.... no disrespect....
