For those of you who have never been to a 'clothing optional' beach, I HIGHLY recommend it!

If you are ever in British Columbia, Canada, go to Vancouver. From downtown Vancouver, take the USB bus (university of British Columbia) to Wreck Beach. It is about a half hour walk from the bus depot and the 500 steps down to the beach, but it is worth it!

Once you are down on the beach, you will see a mix of clothed and naked people. Don't be afraid or shy, just go for it and put all your clothes in your backpack.

You will feel more comfortable walking around naked than being shy with your clothes still on.

Wreck Beach is like the Garden of Eden. Absolute paradise!

When I went in May, the water was a little chilly. Kids were building sand castles and nobody cared if you were naked or not. Be sure to take a couple of pictures of yourself to prove you were there and to dream about going back.

One day I will return to Wreck Beach.

back years ago my sister tricked my dad and his wife and us kids into going to a clothing optional beach.... it was weird....

I went to a clothing optional beach on Mykonos when I was 25.

I didn't get totally naked though.

I just went topless.

The water was crystal clear and there were little fishes about two inches long, schooling around me.

It was unforgettable.

And it was one of the nature highlights of my life.

I Support Nude Beaches...The only thing that would keep me away is the Gremlin factor. I have no desire to be naked around kids...

Wasn't this a big deal in the 70s? We have Blacks Beach, never been myself, not a point of interest in my book.

Especially lakes in West Virginia. Minny has great lakes.

I was surprised to learn that outside of Europe, it's damn difficult to enjoy a nude beach like we have them. But it's true: nothing beats a good mediterean nude beach or even nude island. You can find me there all the time
