I dun lost track of Spock's age. He weren't a baby on the Enterprise, but technically the only baby in TOS was Chekov, the rest of them was around 30 something, and McCoy was even older. JJverse is just appealling to the youth centric style now, everybody only a few years out of HS these days with no experience.

I heard that it's like 10-12 years before the original if so Spock should look like this

Hope Disovery is trying to appeal to the hard core fans and not JJ "let's destroy Vulcan" Abrams. A weekly series will not appeal to the youth centric style.

Scotty and McCoy were the oldest. Both actors born in 1920

I wasn't sure about Scotty, he was kind of a young looking guy so I was thinking maybe late 30s, which he still may have been for the show, idk. I know everybody had served on other ships before the Enterprise, maybe with the exception of Chekov. So maybe this will be Spock's first ship, or we'll just see him in passing with his dad or something. I wasn't sure about Sulu either, I mean irl, they are all about the same age (with the exception of DeForest and James), so I never quite knew what they're ages were for the show, he was a lieutenant though, where Chekov was an ensign.

In JJverse, everybody on the bridge (iirc, with the exception of Spock) should be technically ensigns, fresh out of the academy, but they're not, they all jumped ranks.

Scotty was in WW2

At the beginning of the Second World War, Doohan joined the Royal Canadian Artillery and was a member of the 14th (Midland) Field Battery, 2nd Canadian Infantry Division.[9] He was commissioned a lieutenant in the 14th Field Artillery Regiment of the 3rd Canadian Infantry Division. He was sent to England in 1940 for training. He first saw combat landing at Juno Beach on D-Day. Shooting two snipers, Doohan led his men to higher ground through a field of anti-tank mines, where they took defensive positions for the night. Crossing between command posts at 11:30 that night, Doohan was hit by six rounds fired from a Bren Gun by a nervous Canadian sentry:[10] four in his leg, one in the chest, and one through his right middle finger. The bullet to his chest was stopped by a silver cigarette case given to him by his brother.[citation needed] His right middle finger had to be amputated, something he would conceal during his career as an actor

Well James was in WW2 but not "Scotty" wink that's what I mean. An actor and their character aren't necessarily the same age, they can be older or younger. I don't know if Scotty was considered the same age as Kirk, I know McCoy was considered older. I think Spock was pretty old (by human standards) by then also.

Nevermind I looked it up. Kirk was born in 2233, Scotty was born 2222. They ended up on the Enterprise in 2265.

Spock and Kirk are about the same age it seems, Spock was born in 2230. McCoy is in the middle, born 2227. No birthdate on Sulu, no birthdate for Uhura but her first commission was the Enterprise as a Lieutenant like Sulu. Sulu started in the science division and then transferred to the command division. Chekov was born 2245 he joined Enterprise in 2267, in the early 2270s he was promoted to Lieutenant, it does say Sulu was slightly older.

Axanar tells the story of Garth of Izar, introduced as Captain Kirk’s hero, a legendary starship commander whose victory at Axanar was required reading at the academy.

The film, originally scheduled to go into production in 2016, tells the story of the Four Years War with the Klingon Empire, which the United Federation of Planets nearly lost. Axanar picks up where Prelude to Axanar left off, with the new Klingon battlecruiser, the D-7 class, turning the tide of the war, and a frantic Starfleet scrambling to find some way to end the conflict. Garth’s audacious battle plan is the course the Federation decides to bet on.
