Did you like the latest episode of The Walking Dead?

I really enjoyed it, especially because they showed a little bit of every community and almost all characters, except for Negan and the Saviors.

And there was finally some good old walker action again. That highway scene was pretty intense.

I wonder who those younger looking people in the final scene were. Rick´s smile during the very last seconds of the episode suggested that they seem to know each other.

Any idea who they could possibly be?

It was not a monster but a walker, it seems this second part of this season is gettin better comparing to the slow first part.

Preach! So far, so good and way better than the first half of the season. I know they were trying to build it up to this point, but still, I love how this second half is developing.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Those folks at the scrapyard had a strange way of speaking. Weird intonation.

I think that walker in the pit could´ve been defeated much more easily if Rick had looked for bigger items, such as sticks or maybe a rope. I don´t get why it took him so long to beat that walker.

And...who are those scrapyard people anyway, and how come they haven´t been raided by the Saviors yet?

I think this is a really good season so far.

The same with me, it was a very silly fight.

I've enjoyed the first 2 episodes for no other reason than that we get to see the whole crew, mostly. There's something disjointed when a week is dedicated to a single or a couple characters. I understand this is a bit of a mainstay now, if for no other than budgeting reasons.

The whole crew, and the Hilltop community, the Kingdom, Rick and his gang and on top of that a brandnew community...those scrapyard people.

But unfortunately we didn´t get to see Negan and the Saviors. But...we got to hear Negan´s voice on the walkietalkie.

I´m a bit torn when it comes to single character episodes. One the one hand it´s nice to focus on just one character and go into a bit more detail on that character´s background but it gets boring pretty fast.

However, I never knew it was for budget reasons. That´s interesting, never even thought about that.

I wonder who those scrapyard people are, and I wonder if the females only community is going to be in the future episodes.

Full disclosure - I'm making an assumption that budget has a bearing on the number of actors you see in an episode, and some of the content is framed around that. And I do like the focus, but it seems when you have 2 weeks in a row with episodes that only follow a single strain, you feel disjointed from everything else that's going on.

I'm liking the scrapyard too. I have a feeling we know where those guns are coming from - Tara was looking like she might spill the beans.

I'm really not sure about their way of talking. For me it detracted from what was going on (I was working out the grammatical structure as well as the intonation). I don't understand why new language patterns would evolve so quickly, it would literally take hundreds of years for this to happen in reality. But hey, I guess it's not reality so I'll have to live with it.

Another thing I wondered was how they got the armour on the walker? If he had been weraing it at the point of death then as he decomposed it would have got loose, yet I couldn't see how they could have got it on him as a walker without being bitten? Oh I think too much.

I think the season is okay so far. The second half is better than the first.

Definitely this! Things would be horrible, living conditions wise, but I fail to see how that would mean your speech is affected. Maybe a few generations down the line without any schooling it might start to happen. Shame really as I liked the new group other than that.

I think killing the doctor was a rather stupid move because sooner or later they will need a doctor and in my opinion having a doctor is one of the most important assets the Saviors have.

Very stupid and unnecessary. Still have no clue why he found that necessary.

And Eugene playing a fucking Atari 2600 instead of sexxxing those girls.. lol

You're right, Eugene it's allright by now, but wait 2 or 3 episodes and he won't be anymore, once they find out about his lies.

I don't agree about the governor, NegaN is more evil than him, much more i have to say. Anyone here thinks that the situation about the pills that Negan's wives asked for, is a tramp to see how loyal he could be?

Now that is really an interesting theory. You think they were testing him ?

I think he has nothing to fear, does he ? ? He never said he was a proper medical doctor and he does indeed know a few things, like for example making bullets and other stuff. Negan think Eugene is a smartass, and he really is. He comes up with some neat ideas. But...I wonder if Negan overestimated Eugene and his skills, or if his own rules and principles simply meant more to him than keeping a doctor in his camp.

I mean, he burned that doctor alive...and as far as I know that was the only doctor the Saviors had in their camp.

Perhaps, for the reaction of Negan at the very ending, most likely.

It wasn't in the comic ... they might have gone a different way with the show, but those women sounded pretty desperate, unless they were actors before things went to sh*t biggrin

Easy. The show needs a bad guy. I loved the last episode, the relationship between Rick and Michonne is lovely.
