He doesn't need to be replaced. As far as I'm concerned, he breathed some much needed life into the previously boring version of The Tonight Show. Since he's been hosting, I've watched the show more times than ever before. I love that when he gets other gigs he takes The Roots with him as his backing band. They most certainly deserve the shine and I love how much more exposure they've been getting.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I've been Loving Jimmy since day 1...NBC Big Wig's picked the perfect replacement for Leno...I like Jay but he was not all that funny, at least Jimmy is funny...

The Comedians most of you want to replace him with are already Talk Show Losers....If it did not work the first go-round then you need to let it go....Just ask Queen Latifah...Queen would sleep with a Man to get a 3rd Talk Show, she can't accept the fact that the general Public Loves her for her music/acting but they don't wanna see her in their living rooms...

do you think he's a good interviewer?

This bloke would be a good host of The Tonight Show if he'd get his teeth cleaned. Bring back Headlines Mr. Annoying Orange!

Fair question..As an interviewer I think he's as comically-engaging as Letterman, Carson & Leno....We all know that Comics are hired for the Late Night gigs, none of them ever have degrees in journalism...Celebs don't expect to get Barbara Walters Shade when they visit Late night Talk Shows...

It's all about the Silly...Pure entertainment and nothing more...I think we can agree that Talk Show Hosts are an acquired taste...

yeah, we'll have to agree to disagree

i found that letterman could challenge his guests... he didn't suck up to them the way that jimmy does

the fun stuff.. skits etc... i have no problem with...what he does, he does well.... it's just when he sits down with a guest it all goes to shit for me

Obsessed with the top photo. Is it a reflection on the screen?

...LOL...You're right Dave did Challenge some of his Guests in a very respectful way..Dave had his own brand of Swagger, he looked out for his Lifetime Staff/Team and he enjoyed Fucking MANY interns..Most of the Interns kept their mouths shut and a couple of them did not.....

My favorite Late Night Host of all time is Craig Ferguson...Nobody in Late Night was funnier than Craig...CBS dumping his show was definitely personal (Craig said he was ready to go, but I think there were some hurt feelings going on.)

I say Wanda S. she'd be good. But she will be considered too old for late night before jimmy is forced to retire.

99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment
