Mike is one of my buddies. He's one of the funniest guys I've ever known! Everyone should buy his book "Spaceman". It's great!

All that space food is packaged in plastic that has a molecular shape that mimics estrogen.

He could have been gaining weight for hormonal reasons.

But it was also probably a bit of eating out of boredom.

idk, from what I glean only 2 astronauts gained weight, I'm assuming more lost weight or maintained their weight. But it's interesting the work from what they like to eat first then they put together a nutritional plan around that.
