Please note, I'm not asking for all porn to be shut down - if it was up to the Indian government, they would promptly block ALL porn, which is NOT what I want (and which, in fact, they have already tried). So - get on it guys, eh?

What you need is an ad blocker. For Firefox, Palemoon, & Chromium/Chrome users, I highly recommend ublock origin.

I also recommend uMatrix to block second and third parties links that are [ir]responsibile for those unwanted ads.

You could just quit looking at that crap.

Funny thing. I was listening to the Linux Action Show on YouTube. As all of you should know sites... porn sites gather all types of data about you. One of the things they track is what type of OS you use,

14% of Porn-Hub users use Linux... 14%. Interesting, I think Linux has moved the needle and if the community to get there act together... the needle should jump even higher.

We have Constitution and porn is protect by our 1st Amendment as a right to "artistic expression”.

Unless these sites include children or none-consenting adults (sex trade / slave /trafficking ) under our laws there nothing government can do. The rights of distributor's, film makers, and actors are protected...as they should be.

Who gets to define porn? Some would call what you enjoy as no more perverse than what's on the side-tabs surrounding the web sites you access. In fact some would argue that support any element of the sex trade.... prostitution, the porn industry, strip clubs have long lasting and corrosive side-affects to the greater society.
