I picked the Falcons, 38 - 35. I'm the only person in my entire office who picked the Falcons. I'm either our lone moron, or I'm going to verrrrrrrrrrry obnoxious on Monday!

The Falcons seem to me to be one of those teams that no one remembered to tell them, "You can't win". They just have this vibe about them that says "victory". But they surely have their work cut out for them.

Tom Brady is mad and undefeated this year. I'm sure he and Patriot Nation would love nothing more than to force Darth Goddell to hand Brady the Super Bowl and MVP trophies after the game. It's worth rooting for the Patriots just to see what Brady has to say

But like almost everyone eles in the world, I'm mainly rooting for funny commercials. I thought last year's were below par, so I'm hoping for a big rebound this year.

The city of Houston has been killing it as host. Discovery Green has been packed. An estimated 1,000,000 visitors will go through the exhibits and NFL FanFest. Compare that with the 200,000 that visited FanFest when Houston last hosted the Super Bowl back in 2004. Pretty big gain!

NASA and the Johnson Space Center embraced the Super Bowl in a BIG way. NASA has a Mission to Mars ride/exhibit that is the centerpiece of Discovery Green. Tens of thousands of people have "ridden" to Mars. I hope it's bringing people to embrace our space program!

The astronauts on the International Space Station have Super Bowl fever, too (go to 1:39 for the football stuff):

Rooting for the Dirty Birds but I got a "sign" yesterday and it was Patriots.

Brand new boogie without the hero.

Dirty Birds need to put the hammer down. Can't let up on Brady, ever!

Halftime was underwhelming. Made me miss Prince.

The halftime show was amazing, although it cannot top Prince's performance. Here is a high-quality version of Prince's performance: https://vimeo.com/168110974.

Matty Ice is on his way to adding a Super Bowl MVP award to his 2016 MVP award. He is on fire!

But let me also say that I love how balanced this offense is. Their defense is looking like the 2012-13 Legion of Boom Jr.

I'm so glad that Kenny Easley, the legendary Seahawks strong safety, will finally be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame! It's well-deserved and long overdue. I was happy to see Terrell Davis get into Canton also...I loved watching him when I was a kid.

You must not have heard her sing the national anthem last year at Super Bowl 50. She was outstanding.

That comeback was unbelievable. Brady is the greatest QB ever. There is officially no argument now. None, nada. Two years ago, it was still possible to argue for Joe Montana. Now, it's all Brady. (Except if I'm talking to my husband, of course, because he has a gigantic mancrush on Peyton Manning. He tried to power off my computer while I was writing this.)
