Issa Rae's Insecure, Sarah Jessica's Divorce available now on HBO Go, HBO Now, and HBO on Demand

plus Westworld episode 2.

For viewers who can’t wait until this weekend to check out the new HBO comedy series DIVORCE and INSECURE and the second episode of the new drama series WESTWORLD, special advance premieres of Sunday night’s episodes are all available to stream right now via HBO NOW and HBO GO, in addition to HBO On Demand and affiliate portals.

WESTWORLD, Episode #2: “Chestnut”

A pair of guests, first-timer William (Jimmi Simpson) and repeat visitor Logan (Ben Barnes), arrive at Westworld with different expectations and agendas. Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) and Quality Assurance head Theresa Cullen (Sidse Babett Knudsen) debate whether a recent host anomaly is contagious. Meanwhile, behavior engineer Elsie Hughes (Shannon Woodward) tweaks the emotions of Maeve (Thandie Newton), a madam in Sweetwater’s brothel, in order to avoid a recall. Cocky programmer Lee Sizemore (Simon Quarterman) pitches his latest narrative to the team, but Dr. Ford (Anthony Hopkins) has other ideas. The Man in Black (Ed Harris) conscripts a condemned man, Lawrence (Clifton Collins, Jr.), to help him uncover Westworld’s deepest secrets. Written by Jonathan Nolan & Lisa Joy; directed by Richard J. Lewis.

DIVORCE, Episode #1: “Pilot”
Frances (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Robert (Thomas Haden Church) — a middle-aged couple in the suburbs of New York City — try to figure out if their marriage is worth saving after a shocking event at their friend Diane’s (Molly Shannon) 50th birthday party makes them take a hard look at their own lives.
Written by Sharon Horgan; directed by Jesse Peretz.

INSECURE, Episode #1: “Insecure as F**k”
In the wake of her 29th birthday, Issa Dee (Issa Rae) reconsiders her dead-end relationship with Lawrence (Jay Ellis), her live-in boyfriend. Meanwhile, Issa’s best friend, Molly (Yvonne Orji), mourns her singledom and the state of her “lady parts.” Later, Issa uses an open-mic night as an excuse to reconnect with an ex. Written by Issa Rae & Larry Wilmore; directed by Melina Matsoukas.

Loved Insecure. Issa is very talented. Looking forward to more episodes. It kinda reminds me of Broad City on Comedy Central, which I love.

Just Music-No Categories-Enjoy It!

Don't have HBO, but I'll find some way of seeing Issa Rae's Insecure. Loved the Awkward Black Girl series on YouTube.

nod Yes!!!! This show is definitely going to become my new favorite HBO comedy. I can totally relate to it.

Divorce was slow at first but by the end, I was dying laughing. So I'll keep this on my weekly DVR rotatation.

As for Westworld, I'm very unsure if I want to continue watching. The first episode didn't wow me, the second episode started off good but I got disturbed with the unnecessary and brutal violence of the amusement park visitors towards to the "hosts". The one with the old man host especially. I can normally watch movies/TV shows with violence but for some reason this scene made my stomach turn. shrug

Divorce - I've been looking forward to this since hearing about it a week or two ago. SJP does well in rolls like this. Being a child of divorce (there are six marriages and 4 divorces and one annulment between my parents), a lot of the couple's dialog seemed quite familiar. I think Molly Shannon is going to be a great spark to the show, not that she's going to be a comedian in every scene. She can do drama very well, too.

Insecure - I remember Issa long ago on her Awkward Black Girl series on the internet. It had me laughing every time. Insecure is basically that idea, redone on HBO. While I'm not against cursing, some of it seemed really forced or unnecessary. I'm anxious to see how this develops over time.

If you loved ABG, you'll definitely enjoy this. Both episodes so far were very funny and relatable lol . I love Issa.

If you will, so will I

If the rest of the season of Insecure is like the beginning, Issa is going to get nominated for best comedy actress in a comedy.

nod And she should. The second episode was hilarious...but what I love is how much I can relate to the situations her friend Molly goes through.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I can't believe no one's mentioned Issa wearing an MJ shirt, then a Prince t-shirt in the first couple of scenes of episode 2. She is getting funnier.

Divorce was really funny, too. It's actually cool to see a guy get cheated on by a woman, and have him react to it, and have her gravel for forgiveness, etc. As a kid of divorce, some of their conversation rreeaally hits home.

Outstanding Comedy Series 2017

Veep

Modern Family (stale as hell but will still get nominated)

Black-ish

Transparent

Those are shoo-ins (sp?)

Depending on the attention Master of None, Silicon Valley and Kimmy Schmidt get I could see Insecure getting one of the last two (or three) spots. Speechless is a contender too because the Emmy's like diversity in their nominees.

Lead Actress in a comedy series

Julia Louis-Dreyfuss

Issa Rae

Tracee Ellis Ross

Minnie Driver

2 wild cards

This is Issa's break through role and moment. Just like Sarah J. Parker's Sex in the City was for her.

Yuuuuuuup and in Season 2 of How To Get Away with Murder when Annalise Keating (played by the incredible Viola Davis) goes home to her mother, where she has 3 walls of her old bedroom covered in Prince, MJ and Whitney Houston pictures touched cloud9 thumbs up!

The MJ shirt is in the very first scene when she's talking to herself in the bathroom. Episode 2.

Divorce was really surprising to me. Thomas Hayden Church is so funny!!! I really, really like it.

Insecure is great, too.

And I love Westworld.

The last two episodes of Insecure got very real. I wasn't laughing much. Well, there were funny bits in the finale, but overall, what a downer. Very good show.

I haven't seen the last episode yet, but I'm loving this series. Why, though, why would she do that to Lawrence??? He's just perfect 😍😍😍
