The Giants' alternate year World Series run is finally broken. If the Cubs go all the way, Theo Epstien will be MVP of the century.

Joe Blanton should be ashamed. He has done the job all year for the Dodgers...why on earth would he throw an 0-2 slider in Montero's wheelhouse? That's Pitching 101...0-2 count, MAKE THEM CHASE. Still can't believe what I saw. Kershaw can even it up tonight, but the Dodgers are asking a LOT of him. We shall see...GO DODGERS

Make it so, Number One...

Unlike David Price, Kershaw has proven he can pitch in the postseason.

Terry Francona can't make a bad move at all this postseason. Indians' starting pitcher gets pulled in the first inning because of an injury? No problem, Tito can handle it. Amazing.

The Jays certainly have their work cut out for them, but they've blown 3 games so the odds are definitely against them at this point. I'm still hoping for greatness though.

Maybe Terry Francona ran out of rabbits to pull out of his hat. Trevor Bauer looks to be out for the rest of the series and Cy Young winner Corey Kluber can't pitch again until game seven at the earliest on short rest.

This is where not re-signing Zack Greinke may come back to haunt the Dodgers. They've proved me wrong all year so I'll just watch and see...but this is looking "shaky" for the Dodgers to say the least. GO DODGERS

You don't believe in curses and jinxes? Well...lately, over the past few months, I've been listeining to a lot of Chicago...the band. Making itunes playlists of their first four albums. Well...once it was decided that the Dodgers were playing the Cubs in the NLCS, NO MORE CHICAGO. I vowed that I would not listen to them, could not listen to them...until the NLCS as over and my Dodgers were heading back to the World Series. I was true to my vow, listened to NO CHICAGO. Well...today, at about 4:10pm PT, about an hour before first pitch...I'm antsy, with nothing to do. I've been watching the show "Freaks and Geeks" on Netflix and figured, "I'll watch an episode...that'll pass the time til the game starts." So...I turn on the show, I'm watching the episodes in order...never watched the show before. The episode begins on the football field. One of the freaks has a crush on the tuba player in the marching band, and the freaks are watching the band practice. I said, "Hmm...that song sounds familiar...waht song is that?" I couldnt figure it out, but I knew the song. The other freaks begin making fun of the band, and one says, "That has got to be the worst rendition of Chicago's '25 or 6 to 4' that I've ever heard." I knew then that we were sunk... wall

That was a brutal hex you put on the Dodgers. Minimum number of batters faced by the Cubs--only a perfect game thrown by Hendricks would have been worse.

A major milestone in sports history will occur one way or another when this is over.

I hear Chicago tickets are selling for $12,000 because this could be a once in a lifetime event there.
