Live Girls Lonely Boys (Porn in the '80s)

Outside of Show World, breakdancers were on the dirty sidewalk, spinning on their heads while blasting a boombox. Before entering into the porn emporium, I got change for a five and stuffed the quarters into my pocket; feeling the weight and warmth of the coins against my leg, I scurried inside. A few years later, Show World would begin using their own specialty tokens with the silhouette of a dancer in motion on one side and the words “Worlds Greatest Show Place” on the other.

And to think THAT^ might happen to Bourbon Street @ The French Quarters in New Orleans. hmmm

Given the recent local news reports on New Orleans local government and the City Commission are trying to cut down on the number of operating strip clubs in Orleans Parish, I think they want to make Bourbon Street "family friendly" 24 hours a day instead of only daylight hours.

eek Then it won't be Bourbon Street anymore. They might as well rename it Disney Street.

Pretty much. neutral But those plans will fail because of the annual Mardi Gras. Excuse me, but there is NOTHING "family friendly" about Mardi Gras weekend when the Bourbon Street audience is super-packed and women are showing their breasts. lol

I sure as hell don't want to go to a family friendly Mardi Gras. razz That ain't no time and place for kids... No way can they change that New Orleans' tradition. It's bad enough that N.O. has already changed so much since Hurricane Katrina...
