They are not poor by any means. They love to be outside, and are quite trained on a leash. I'd never just let them out. People poison animals, and those grove of trees there is full of chipmunks, squirrels, skunks, rabbits, and more. We've trained them since they were kittens, so they're totally cool being on a leash. They wait by the door for us to put the leash on them. We jokingly call their harness their "sports bra". haha
