Anyone read Lorrie Moore?

I got this book, and I really loved the 2 stories I've read so far..... her language is so beautiful and lyrical....... has anyone else here read her?

...OK, after all this time, I'm guessing no one. Please DO read her - I read some more last night, and once again, regardless of the actual story, I'm carried away by the language, the prose - it's so evocative and beautiful to simply read, that I LOVE it..... Please get a copy of "Like Life" or borrow one, I'd love to know how I "beautifulld" your life..... smile

OK, I know no one likes to hear someone repeat the same thing 3 times,....but I read another story last night... - I *beg* you, I *implore* you, I *beseech* you..... if you do ONE thing this year, read this book.......

Why? What's it about? Maybe I don't like poetry.

It's just about *relationships* between men and women, usually in an "artistic" field....it's not poetry, it's prose.....very GOOD prose, it just makes you feel good *reading* it!

...OK, I just have to say that it's Disgusting that I have to pay Amazon if I want to buy this book - Flipkart doesn't even have it with the cover I want! frikkin expensive everywhere too!

What she really needs is her own website, where I can buy it and download it - 20 bloody years after Crystal Ball, Prince's business model still hasn't percolated down to, well I wouldn't call her the masses smile , but..... everywhere! sad
