Are you a fan of Empire and who is your favorite character(s)? I am a fan of Empire. It is a great drama series. However, I do not like the constant violence in the episodes. My three favorite characters are Lucious, Cookie and Jamal.

Yes, I watch it. And I like it. I love the poster of a painting by Vincent van Gogh during his time at the art academy.
It made me think about Prince. 99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%. | |

My fav character is Cookie, Taraji P. Henson just slays 
and I also like Anika again Grace Gealey is amazing, and I love her haircut is so on point.
Its not a great drama series. It has crazy unrealistic situations & over the top characters which is why it is a very good soap opera. | |

The story lines are absurd and with the exception of Terrence Howard, Taraji Henson and Trai Byers the acting is pathetic. Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise. | |

I'm not sure why I keep tuning in b/c the show is a complete waste of time that I laugh at. I don't have a favorite character as the acting quality lacks. The music, sometimes is decent with Jamal being the better of all of them. Whoever keeps giving Terrance Howard songs to sing needs to be shot. He can't sing for shit. Alicia Keys played singer Skye. She and Jamal kissed. They sang great together and looked good together. One of my favorite episodes. |

Yea I like it, it has some OTT moments but it's fun. Favorite characters has to be Cookie first! Lucious, then Jamal too. The others are good too but these 3 stand out. Guest appearances probably Alicia, Luda and Chris Rock. If you like Empire you should check out Terrence Howard in Hustle and Flow which is kinda like Empire innthe sense that he's a hustler/pimp who becomes a rapper. As for the soundtracks some very good songs on them, especially Good People which Jamal and Hakim sing and rap to their bro when he's feeling down. Reminds me a little of a latter day track Mike might have done for Invincible. | |

I'm a so-so-Fan of Empire...Season 1 was Excellent and left you wanting more, the first half of season 2 was boring with comical moments, I hope I get to finish up the 2nd half of season 2 this weekend...If Empire was on HBO Lee Daniels would show y'all how FILTHY he really is... | |

Season one was way better for sure. This season dragged in places and some of the stories were just standard soap opera fare. It's almost a modern day morality type tale and apparently it's based upon Shakespeare's King Lear. | |
