Captain America Civil War questions for MCU fans

This one is for the hardcore fans, not intended as a general thread about the movie though please feel free to share your impressions smile

SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

First let it be said that I'm a major fan of the MCU. I love what they're doing. I'm a comics fan and I've loved what they're doing from Day 1. I loved Civil War, deeply, so this is not me trying to pinpoint flaws, more trying to understand 3 things that elude me, with the HUGE hope that some of you will come and tell me "yes but this is because" so I can breathe and sleep quitely cool

What bother me:

1) What is Scott Lang's motivation in joining Team Cap? We left him at the end of Ant-Man trying to redeem himself with his ex wife and to be there for his child. He's been to jail and he doesn't wanna go back. He only met Sam once (it's unclear from the dialogue if they met a second time ever since but it didn't sound like it), and the next thing you know he's going to Berlin and shrugs when guys he's never met before tell him to fight with them for an illegal cause, and risk becoming an outlaw. Something doesn't add-up here or I've missed something? Why would Scott risk everything and become again a wanted man... for a cause and people totally alien to him?

2) What about locking Scott, Sam, Wanda and Clint in the Raft? Like, you know, without trial? We know from Agents Of SHIELD that SHIELD had in fact been doing this for years, secretely locking-up superpowered criminals forever, without trial. And we know the Army does it too (at least they did it with Blonsky). But this is like a new superpowered Guantanamo or what? Is the general public aware of this new jail and who's jailed in it or is it yet another top-sectet prison? Plus there is a MAJOR problem in this: Wanda is the only one with peowers, who could be considered a "living weapon" and therefore a major danger for world security. But the others? Scott and Sam are just regular folks without their toys. And Clint doesn't even have engineered powers at all!!! He's just a super trained SHIELD agent who's damn good with a bow and arrow! How can those dudes possibly be locked down without trial in a Guantanamo for superpowered folks???

.

3) In Ant-Man they make this huge fuss about everyone and their cousin wanting to put their hands on the Pym Particle. Well, by catching Scott and with him the Ant-Man's costume, they have it! Only it's implied at the end that the costume was like just stored in a cupboard at the Raft for Scott to pick-up whenever he'd go out? Huh? Has the US government become dumber than dumb?

I ain't got a no-prize for y'all but thanks to whomever can help biggrin

I don't know if these are adequate answers but I'll do my best.

1: It was said in Ant-Man that Hank Pym didn't like or trust the Starks, something which is repeated in Civil War. Seeing as Pym is a mentor of sorts to Scott, he may have picked up on that and subconsciously holds a grudge against Tony Stark. Or, which I think is more likely, Scott doesn't agree with the Sokovia Accords and his chief motivation in siding with Cap is that Cap is fighting against it. If the Avengers are being asked to sign or be deemed a criminal, how much longer will it be before the government want to make other heroes like Ant-Man sign.

2: None of the villains in the MCU have been shown to get a fair trial so with these guys now seen as villains or potential terrorists, a trial is not necessary.

3: It's never specifically stated so this is just me filling in the blanks, but maybe only a scientist of Tony Stark's ability could successfully reverse engineer the suit to gain access to the Pym Particle and use it for himself but seeing as he was busy getting his ass kicked by Captain America, the work remained undone. But that's just me making things up so I don't know. Maybe it will be explained in Ant-Man 2?

During the scene when Tony was walking in the Raft looking at everybody locked up, and when he passes the cell the Scott is in, he says "I was told you could never trust a Stark" or something like that.
