I'm up to 7 push ups a day. Push ups don't come easy to me.

I call myself "millionairess" because it is more motivating than "paycheck2paycheck"

Will the streak come to an end?

I partied like it was 1999 last night. No, really - I partied like I was two decades younger. And I am feeling it today! No push-ups this morning, and I really don't feel like do them right now. Plus, today is my daughter's birthday so I assume there's a big dinner in my immediate future.

It will take a Heculean effort to squeeze out any push-ups today.

I did 9 push ups today and it was really not easy.

I found out today that I'm about one inch away from my high school hip measurement. (It's been over 10 years since I was in high school- been a Prince fan since I was 14 or 15 by the way). I am hoping for a high school waist reunion sometime this fall. That would require losing about four inches (that's one a month).

I find this thread very motivating. I love the idea of Org members being a fit and good looking group nod

That's a 30% increase - awesome! And your goal of losing one inch a month is PERFECT. My experience has been that rapid weight loss is always followed by rapid regaining of that weight. But slow and steady weight loss is weight loss that is real. Great job!

Thank you. I remember trying to do push ups in middle school. I was out of shape and could only do about two push ups (with awful form) in gym class while everyone else did alot more. lol

A real challenge is doing weighted wide-grip chin-ups. Trying to reach my goal of 10 with a 45 lb weight.

My all-time record was THREE unassisted chin-ups.

Nice... How wide is wide? Probably wider than shoulder-width, right?

You are correct.....I was able to do 7/8 before I had shoulder issues. Now I have to start from scratch, but I'll get there.

Thank you. I need to keep it up because I just saw pictures of me that I didn't like (not skinny enough). So my goal to lose weight is more reinforced now.

My last day at the gym was on March 31. I joined a new gym today, June 28th, and ran on the treadmill. The gym has good hours, so I can go often. Though, I want to build up slowly as I haven't been that active lately.

I am up to 20 push ups as of today. I have noticed small changes that I credit to the push ups. Challenging myself with the push ups is good for me. So I must ask: anything I can do daily for my stomach?

Push ups will work the core as well, but I'd say try planks each day and extra workout for the core 3 times a week or so.
