Howard Stern Show alien "expert" and Sirius XM show host Riley Martin has died at age 69.

The news broke Tuesday via a post to the Facebook fan page for Martin's radio show which featured a photo of Martin and a caption that read: "Riley L. Martin: 1946-2015." The accompanying post, written by Riley Martin Show engineer Eron, reads:

"Wayfarers, friends & fans, Riley told me to tell you all that he loves you. He also admonished me that the Biaviian Symbols that he has already completed and left us with must be distributed; so, Wayfarers, 'Get Your Symbols'. Thank you all for all of your thoughts and prayers. Also, Riley said to tell you all (I don't know how) that he WILL see you again in the future. Please stay tuned as we will have more to say about the last days, and life, of the Ole Space Cowboy, the one and only, Riley Lee Martin.
R.I.P. God Bless you all! Peace."

An earlier post to the page in October 2015 referred to health problems Riley had reportedly been suffering for some time, stating:

"Riley has been experiencing some significant health issues. We are happy to report that he is returning home now, after a prolonged stint in the hospital and after undergoing a recovery program at a rehabilitation facility."

Howard Stern himself had yet to comment on the death on Tuesday night, but other Stern Show personalities includingTim Sabean and Mariann from Brooklyn began posting tributes to Martin via Twitter shortly after the news broke.

The Riley Martin Show first aired on Howard Stern's secondary Sirius radio channel Howard 101 in March 2006. The show featured the author and extraterrestrial theorist speaking about his history of alien abductions.

He claimed he was first "taken" by a race of ETs called the "Biaviians" in 1953 at age 7. Martin stated that the aliens uploaded hundreds of thousands of Biaviian symbols into his brain during his visits to their mothership. He sold drawings of the symbols to fans and followers, claiming that the drawings would ensure them passage onto the Biaviian mothership.

So sad. Riley Martin, who was one of the hosts on Howard Stern’s Sirius XM channels and a regular on his main show, died in Bethlehem, PA, just a few days before Christmas, a new report claims. He was 69 years old.

This is probably the most heartbreaking news we’ve heard in a long time. The Howard Stern Show‘sRiley Martin, who was also an alien expert, died just a few days before Christmas, a new report claims. He was just 69 years old. Find out all the sad details here.

Martin’s longtime producer, Eron, confirmed his death to TMZ, saying he passed away in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Before his death, Riley claimed he had been abducted by aliens several times. And every time Howard Stern asked him about it, he stuck to his guns about it.

At this time, it’s unclear why Riley died, but in a recent Facebook post, he talked about battling an ongoing illness, TMZ further claims. Eron also wrote his own message on Riley�...ebook page. He said: “Riley told me to tell you all that he loves you. Ace	On the one hand, he was a viciously anti-Semitic old kook who probably could've been dangerous given the right circumstances. On the other hand, he unwittingly provided hours and hours of uproarious laughter to the fans and the Stern Show crew. May his suffering be done. ...And what have you, my good man. You understand?
