Patti LaBelle's sweet treat empire with Wal-Mart just expanded.

Buzzfeed shares that the singer's "Patti's Good Life" culinary brand is set to bring two new desserts to the bakery department.

Watch What Happens When A Man Eats Patti LaBelle's Sweet Potato Pie

The first of the two desserts is a vanilla pound cake which will debut in stores on January 4. The classic dessert is said to be "dense and buttery" with a "generous" helping of vanilla icing.

On January 18, the store will introduce the second of the new desserts, a caramel cake which is "three layers of yellow cake filled with caramel buttercream and topped with caramel icing."

The first of Patti's dessert success came when a viral video had her Wal-Mart exclusive sweet potato pies flying off the shelves with a hilarious review from James Wright Chanel.

Will you be heading out to grab a Patti cake?

That's a lot of sugar for a diabetic to be flogging.

.

no. even though the desserts sound delicious, that much sugar doesn't do anyone any good.

More? Heck I ain't seen the first yet. I'm already overwhelmed when I venture into WalMart as it is just looking for the fabric softener and butter knives, now to try to look for something else I have no clue where it is, you must be kidding.

Aren't the desserts over in the section with the baked, in-house (but will mold tomorrow) bread? ohgoon. I'm surprised Walmart doesn't have her desserts set up by the door entrance with a lifesized cutout board with her picture on the front and a large sign that says "PATTI!!!!!" lol

I was in one of those grocery WalMarts and I thought about I could at least look to see if they had it, and then I realized, I didn't know if it was in the frozen section or the "fresh" baked goods section, I really was ready to leave so I didn't want to go to both sections, so I circled a table I saw had pies, they only had one brand of pumpkin on it, so I left since I already had what I came in there for.

Luckily not the flu but a really bad cold that just hung on me (or rather keep reoccuring) for weeks and was very draining, physically and psychologically, so ya know, all I wanted to do was cuddle up and veg when I could.

I'm definitely gonna try her Pound-cake smothered in Icing...They prolly should have made the Icing "lighter" and not as thick...I read some Food Critics reviews and either they Love Ms. Patti & Lying through their teeth OR they really felt the Pound-Cake is one of the best Grocery cakes they've eaten...The Critics say they like that the Cake is Moist and not "wet".....$7 bucks is still a good price for a shopper looking for deals.....I'll buy the Caramel Cake for my coworkers....Caramel is not something that I want stuffed in a cake or on a cake or on top of ice-cream....It's too rich, sticky and sweet and ruins desserts...I will eat a Werther's Original...

Swung by Wally-World after work yesterday morning and the Bakery Lady said they are sold out of Patti Pies and her new Vanilla Pound cake...I'll wait till they get a new shipment cuz I'm not gonna drive 30-min out of the way for a Cake...Booty-Cakes is one thing, but not a store cake...
