Official Game of Thrones season 6 first teaser promo

Didn't post in the other thread cause that's about people who new to GOT.

JS - Tease-1

It’s official: Game of Thrones has resurrected Jon Snow — on the Season 6 poster.

In what some will likely view as a confirmation that Kit Harington’s alter ego did survive that season-ending stabbing, HBO on Monday released a Season 6 teaser poster that features a bloodied — but apparently still alive — Jon Snow. via TVLINE

hmmm I don't know. This doesn't necessarily mean he's alive. Hell, I don't know what they are going to do.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I'm sure he's coming back in somekind of form. I'm just not happy because in my mind I'd already put him on the Throne, but nooooo, my dreams of a decent king sitting there for a while were dashed. So, I'm kind of like this confused about the whole thing, I don't care how he comes back it's not the same for me. Everything is such a toss up, will George zig instead of zag? mad

Exactly. I am in the minority in my GoT fan group, but after losing so many characters I loved over the years, I'm reserving judgment.

The genius of GoT is how the dynamics shifted. 3 seasons ago, if the Night's Watch had "fragged" Snow, few people would have noticed. Now, Snow is indispensable for much of the viewership.

Obviously, he's going to be brought back some kind of way, but that doesn't necessarily mean that he's alive though. It can either be through flashbacks or as a white walker. Or isn't Bran supposed to be back this season? This is stretching it but what if Bran could use his newly recognized powers to bring Jon back from the dead? hmmm

I think Bran is going to be a tree... perhaps a magic tree... but a tree none the less.

I'm thinking he's in Ghost but the fanbase wouldn't be crazy about that so the only thing left is the priestess brings him back.

Wishful thinking: Even if the red head chick brings him back, I can't imagine him being the exact same person. Like wouldn't he have a personality defect or something? There would have to be some sort of sacrifice involved I would think.

From what i know of that world so far, he will not be the same. But who knows maybe there some loophole that gets him out of the NightsWatch and leaves his personality the same.

My bet is Red chick brings him back to life perhaps with the sacrafice of Stannis Baratheon. He is royal blood (Not necessarily dead.) and he has no kingdom, army, and is in debt to people you don't want to owe money too. His part is his sacrafice.

I heard this season has a lot of back story, so current Jon Snow might not reappear for a while. Past Jon Snow with Ned Stark perhaps?

I hope it's not too much backstory, I don't have many questions about the past, maybe one, is he Targaryen, that's about it.

The tease kinda makes it seem as though Bran is involved in some way, which would be interesting.

Change it one more time..

Some completely unforseen loophole?? Did he actually die or is he dying, big difference.

I think Jon Snows identity will be openly questioned and not fully answered in the back story.

The way he hit the snow in the end along with the last stabbing made it "seem" like he was dead before the screen went to black....but in famous cliffhanger fashion, the new season could have him at "dying" instead of actually being dead.

Or....

He's dead and will be brought back to life.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Well if he gets saved while dying then no personality change that's all I'm hoping for.

Game of thrones must be the most overrated show I've ever seen. I've suffered through 5 season of this garbage so far and I simply cannot understand why anyone would ever like this show. You can sum up the whole show in one word: violence. This show basically shows people get physically and emotionally tortured and killed for five seasons. That's it. Nothing else is happening. They're trying to make it look like a political thriller full of intrigue, betrayal and plot twists. But it's not. All the scheming and colluding the characters do leads to nothing, because they all eventually get tortured and brutally killed. There is no action, there are no battles, there is no strategy, there is no mystery, there is no magic. Although they keep promising all of that since s01e01. There's just pointless violence.

Watch this only if you've already watched every other show ever made ever.
