Im with you. never really liked sweet potatos, even during Thanksgiving...Ill only eat a spoonfull and thats about it lol

Well in my world, my mom makes the best sweet potato pies in the world. All this hoola about Patti's pies though are making me curious...but I may not feed into the hype. What she should do is sell her homemade macaroni and cheese, now THAT I would definitely buy!!!

OMG!!! That review is too damn hilarious!!! Shucks if I received a grand review like that on anything that I cooked, I would've called them too! He just basically gave her some free promotion, THAT ACTUALLY WORKED! I read an article this morning that said that since this review has gone viral that her sweet potato pies have sold out.

I've been hearing about her potato pies for years! Glad she finally put them out on the market. A great way to earn a lot of income now that she's not actively recording and releasing music.

Word is this is not her real recipe, only a celebrity endorsement deal. The male that made all that over the top deal about the pies is in stark contrast to anothere post I saw that said they were horrible and way too sweet.

I heard they are quite sugary.

yeah,this was a smart business move on her part.She's making those buck$$$!

About 12 yrs. ago, I was managing a Church of Christ's soup kitchen and one of the volunteer church groups made sweet potato pie around Thanksgiving. On top, was a crumbly mixture of a streussel with brown sugar and cinammon. OUT OF THIS WORLD! Have never seen one like that again! Anyone have any recipes like I've mentioned that they might wanna share??? Otherwise, not a fan! Too SMOOSHY 4 MY tastes! Kinda YUCKY! Thanks! <3

and I spit it out. Just don't dig the taste. Apple pie for me

all holiday long.

I don't do Walmart so I haven't had one and won't but I'm not mad at Patti. Get that money! And the young man that made the video has said that Patti has reached out to him about doing something together soon and so has Jamie Foxx, so I ain't mad at him either. Get that money!

Facebook though, has no chill! I've been laughing my ass off all week!
