I was watching a PBS docu called how we got to her or summin. One episode was about light...from lamps to electric lights. One step was flashes for photography. The tenements around fifth ave were so terrible and poorly lit, cameras couldn't take pics...untill a man who used a rudimentary rudimentary flash showed up. People were so appalled they were torn down and rebult....gentrification?...J/k.


But that video was awesome....we talk shit about where we are...but we've come a looooong way.
