FOX moved "Sleepy Hollow" to Thursday Nights

Who @ FOX thought moving Sleepy Hollow from Monday nights to Thursday nights @ 9pm was wise? Scandal RULES the 9pm slot on Thursdays, then you have the 8-10pm WWE fanatics..It's as if someone @ FOX wants Sleepy Hollow cancelled this season...They won't have the same Following on Thursday nights...

Good its stronger ratings wise then "Reign" so it might do better, giving "Reign" a chance from that death slot.

Plus NBC's The Blacklist is also a hit show on at 9pm. Sounds like doom for Sleepy Hollow.

99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

..LOL...It won't be your fault at all...FOX said "Sleepy" ratings declined during season 2, then we heard rumors of 1 or more of the main players not returning or something...If Season 2 was not good why move the show to Hitsville Thursdays? The show appears to be a "problem" they don't know how to get rid of..

Why are they cramming Thursday night? The show I'm looking forward to is being crammed in then, I loved it on Mondays to start my weeknights. sigh I guess they're forcing the new shows because the popular ones have about run their course, time to setup a new batch.

They should push back Sleepy Hollow to March (or summer), kinda like how the CW pushes back The 100 and Beauty and the Beast.

Exactly...New & Old shows start every season and March would have been just as good as ScareTober...Side-note...I'm DVR'ing so much stuff my DVR cussed me out last week...I still have 12 episodes of Ray Donovan to watch...It's impossible to watch it all...

Download Kodi and/or TVAddons, and you can watch Sleepy Hollow whenever you won't to, no recording, smile

Does it count for ratings though?

The reason I ask is because if it doesn't then you can blame yourself for the reason it'll get cancelled.

I'd say, then they can't do that holiday split. Granted I'm not sure how many episodes Sleepy Hollow has, if it's the regular 23 then I'm guessing they do that 8 & 15 split.

I'm not certain...

Actual I've never watched "Sleepy Hollow", I've only heard about this series this summer from my brother.

In the grand/great scheme of things, Neilson isn't that important anymore. Neilson rating system will grown in

irrelevance in the traditional since. Teenagers and young adults don't watch traditional TV anymore... many TV viewers aren't watching shows in real time. Sleepy Hollow isn't on Kodi /TVAddons because someone has uploaded a bootlegged a copy. No, Fox Network made their show avaible (HD with no commercials) hoping to capture an audience who's doesn't even bother to watch TV Network pogramming... with the exception of sport.

But I do know DVR On Demand does count. Tivo, onsite viewing.

I mean for anyone that cares its an option besides bootlegged viewing.

It would be very easy for the powers that be to gather that data from, Kodi (known as XBMC once) / TVADDONS. Kodi / XBMC was 1st offered as an option via Microsoft XBOX gaming console. Why? TV and the movie industry were concerned then, they were losing audience share. The cash cow for any media programming are boys / men between the ages of 16 to 45 years of age. I don't thnk movie / TV industry ever fathom they'd lose a whole generation and them some, irrespective of gender.

I can speak for my own viewing habits. I haven't been able to watch a regularly scheduled TV series (cable or otherwise) in about two decades. I never been a recording kinda of gal. Yeah maybe I caught the pilot but if I missed a show, pretty much out of sight out of mind. Cable / On Demand feature changed that... I could binge watch. I didn't watch The Sopranos, Sex In The CIty at there regular scheduled times. I don't have cable, we stream. I very very seldom watch TV on a TV. Hell, I just learned about "Scandal"... I watched in a weekend. lol

Sleepy Holliw's new season is actually pretty good so far. I watched all of season 1 when it originally aired but season 2 bored me to pieces...I lost interest after the first couple of episodes and stopped watching. I haven't checked but perhaps their ratings went down in season 2 and this is the reason for the change to Thursday nights???

Ratings did fall.

With everything digital now it's very simple to find out who's watching what. All they have to do is come up with some app that you can hook your phone or computer up to your TV while the program is airing. I'm surprised they haven't come up with that yet. That is if they're even interested in such accurate data.

Sleppy Hollow's ratings did drop, insiders claimed key character(s) wanted out and on and on. Thursday night viewers have made it very clear that they'd rather see a Black Woman & White Man in bed Vs the Ghost Busting Detectives plot...Sleep Hollow writers are so afraid to give Abigail a Man they're forcing the viewers to think she Lives to have confrontations with The Dead...I believe that Abbie & Inchabod are relatives, a twist that will be revealed down the road.

spit I didn't think about it that way but you just might have a point here. I do think they may be trying to shatter that idea by adding Lance Gross to the cast as her "ex-boyfriend/competitor" whom she clearly still have feelings for. To have Crane jealous of their relationship is quite hilarious. Honestly, the whole light flirting situation between Abbie and Crane without them actually acting on their chemistry is, well, frustrating. Either have them as friends or have them as something more. It's that simple.

I agree with you, I do believe that it will be revealed later that Abbie and Crane are indeed distant relatives.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

He died on the show, then came back as a Demon-Troll, then turned Good again...So he's one of the Living-dead and I think he moved away with his wife and kids..I'm DVR'ing this season so I'm guessing Abbie's new love-interest is taking Orlando's place..

Yeah that's how I took it. When I saw Lance Gross pop up and now all of a sudden she's working for the FBI, I assumed that Orlando Jones' character was killed off. But he came back as a demon-troll? spit
