NASA Finally Discusses Sept. 2015 Comet/Meteor/Asteroid Doomsday Prediction

July 6, 2015

NASA has finally commented on the rampant theory that a comet/meteor/asteroid will strike Earth this September. The theory originally came from “self-proclaimed prophet named Rev Efrain Rodriguez”, who said the comet will strike earth sometime between September 15 and 28, 2015 and will cause earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanos.

there are many prophecies and predictions for september 2015. the events are suppose to transpire between september 20-28th.

one prediction i suppose to be a "blood red moon" sometime in the latter part of sept.

eek

what have you heard or read on this subject?

I've heard nothing on it. In fact googling has this prediction in September in a few different years. I'll just stick with the NASA website on such things. I know, I know they're just one big conspiracy. Maybe I'm in on the conspriacy, you never know.

In September there will be a total eclipse of the moon, visible in the early morning of 28 September in Europe.

This takes place when the moon passes through the earth's shadow - this is will be a 'blood Supermoon', when the moon appears red or copper as light is refracted across the surface.

Some have said that a 'Blood Moon' is the sign of an impending apocalypse, bringing strange tidal activity, volcanic eruptions and earthquakes.

this is a photo of a blood moon. many religious people and spritualist are predicting some sort of catastrophic happenings during the blood moon in late september 2015.

Hagee and Biltz's speculations gained mainstream media attention in publications such as USA Todayand The Washington Post.[2][3] Earth & Sky reported receiving "a number of inquiries about Blood Moon", prompting a response.[1] Despite the attention, it is not clear if many people actually believe the ideas. According to Christian Today, only a "small group of Christians" saw the eclipse as significant.[8]

Writing for Earth & Sky Bruce McClure and Deborah Byrd point out that the referenced verse also says the "sun will be turned into darkness", an apparent reference to a solar eclipse. They note that since theJewish Calendar is lunar, one sixth of all eclipses will occur during Passover or Sukkot. Furthermore, there have been 62 tetrads since the first century AD, though only eight of them have coincided with both the feasts. Thus, the event is not as unusual as Hagee and Biltz imply. Additionally, three of the four eclipses in the tetrad will not even be visible in the biblical homeland of Israel, casting further doubt on Hagee and Biltz's interpretation.[1] Writing for Space.com, Geoff Gaherty said he was saddened that"'prophets of doom' ... view these life-enriching events as portents of disaster" and said the eclipse was "hardly something to be concerned about".[9]

In January 2014, Mike Moore, the then General Secretary of Christian Witness to Israel, wrote a lengthy article dismissing the claims of Biltz and Hagee. Moore's view was that no significance can be drawn from the eclipses.

I've never heard of this in connection with Christian faith, I remember something on Grey's Anatomy regarding somekind of fringe group belief. But I do know there is always a doomsday prophet with a ton of evidence that the world is coming to an end within a year or two.

well, that's a point that seems interesting imo. meaning the blood moon with the Christian faith. so i yahooed the following info:

seems in the bible the refer to the term "red moon."

95 Bible Verses aboutThe Red Moon

dove

note: the first 3 listed verses are on point.

dove

so now i'll do another see if there is a difference in red moon meaning and the blood moon meaning

Related image <<blood moon>>>photo of

(the reading here is a bit out there imo)

also:

Blood moon

Due to its reddish color, a totally eclipsed Moon is sometimes referred to as a "blood moon". In addition, in the 2010s the media started to associate the term "blood moon" with the four full moons of a lunar tetrad, especially the 2014–2015 tetrad coinciding with the feasts of Passover and Tabernacles. A lunar tetrad is a consecutive sequence of four lunar eclipses, spaced six months apart.[1

(seems the term "red moon" is just another name for "blood moon." )

so:

maybe saying "wake me when it's over," is a good fit.">>>>>Related image>>> giggle >>>>just kidding

Yeah, I get it, it's mentioned in the scripture but it's generally along with a whole lot of other events happening at the same time together, which is supposed to make it unique. Red/Blood Moons aren't that unusual over the course of human history.

When the really weird impossible stuff starts happening I might pay attention.

In light of recent developments...the revelation that the earth is indeed flat means that there is a broader area for the meteor to hit...

From the article:

"They go on to claim that the Cern collider looks like ‘stargate’"

Well I'm convinced. What more evidence could we possibly need?

Bullshit like that article turns up with monotonous regularity.

Who would think that a prediction like "we know the asteroid will hit near Puerto Rico but we don't know when... sometime in this almost 2-week window" has any credibility? lol

remember this? and what was said about December 2012?

as follows:

Did the ancient Mayans predict the end of the world?

excerpt:

set of numbers to worry about: Dec. 21, 2012.

That date marks the end of a 5,000-year epoch as determined by the Mayan Long Count calendar, a device that ticks off days since the Mayan mythical creation date in 3114 B.C. It's been hijacked by New Age seekers and seers who interpret its end date as representing either a shift in human consciousness or an apocalyptic event.

Is Blood Moon apocalypse REALLY coming? Wild fires, earthquakes & red moon 'signs' of end

September 15, 2015

Events giving rise to the latest predictions include the worsening migration crisis in Europe plus:

* The eruption of Mount Aso on Kyushu island on Sunday morning. No one was hurt after affected residents were evacuated. This came two days after a 5.3 magnitude earthquake hit the south coast of Japan early on Saturday morning local time

* Chronic wildfires near Sacramento, California, quadrupling in size to 20,000 acres over the weekend

* A 6.6 magnitude earthquake in Mexico following two eruptions at separate volcanoes in Mexico on Saturday. Yesterday, a number of quakes, culminating in a 6.6 magnitude one also happened off Mexico in the gulf of California

* A month ago Mount Cotopaxi, Ecuador's very large and active Volcano erupted and there are fears of repeats

(read the following at link)

California officials said Monday that 23,000 people have been displaced by two wildfires ravaging the state — including one believed to be the worst yet in a devastating fire season.

well it looks like the week is upon us. some are saying that the dates Sept 20-28 means alot of weird natural disasters and shifty earth type of stuff is suppsed to happen.

so to put minds to ease i found the following: http://www.timeanddate.co...lypse.html

dove

>

of course none of the end of the days predictions so far have come true - humankind and the earth is still here, and thriving.

An overview of some of the more notorious doomsday scenarios in history, serves to remind us that predicting the end of days is a tricky business.

1. The Mayan Calender - December 21, 2012

2. Camping and the Rapture - October 21, 2011

3. The Black Hole from Geneva -

4. Y2K and the Millenium Bug - beginning of 2000

5. Nostradamus and the King of Terror - August 11, 1999

- see more: http://www.timeanddate.co...lypse.html

dove

basically many predictions have been made over the years and decades about the "end of the world," yet it seems like the good old earth is still under our feet (at least most of us).

>

so if anything happens just wake me when it's over.
