I believe once Jameis learns the nuances of the game at the next level and he leave all his college shenanigans behind he can be very good.

Steelers bringing in Mike Vick for a visit. Backup Bruce Gradowski is out 3 to 4
weeks with a broken finger. As long as Vick knows he is the backup. Bigger loss for the Steelers is center Maurkice Pouncey out 8 weeks with a broken fibula.
Rookie Lb Bud Dupree made some progress in the game Sunday against the a Packers.
Big loss for the a Packers too losing Jordy Nelson perhaps for the season with
a torn ACL.

Michael Vick to visit with Pittsburgh Steelers

Michael Vick said all along that a training camp injury would open a door for him to get back into the NFL.

That may have happened over the weekend.

Vick will be visiting with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Tuesday, per NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport. ESPN first reported the development.

His visit may have been caused by an injury to backup quarterback Bruce Gradkowski, who left Sunday's game with a hand injury that will reportedly require surgery.

This seems to be the ideal backup situation for Vick should the Steelers end up signing him. Unlike his short tenure in New York, he will not be forced into an awkward dual role of mentor and top competitor.

Ben Roethlisberger is the starter and there will never be a question. Vick can take his time and learn the playbook on the off chance something goes wrong.

For what it's worth, the Steelers starter would support a Vick signing.

That's my thing as long as Vick don't come in assuming they are gonna put in special packages

for him. The Steelers already have enough playmakers. Vick is only to be used in case of injury

to Big Ben.

At this point I think that Vick is just happy to be able to participate and get a paycheck somewhere. It's not like he'll have endorsements or a broadcasting career to fall back on.

RGIII out, Kirk Cousins in as Redskins quarterback.

As a longtime Washington fan, save for a promising half-season stretch under Schottenheimer, Gibbs' underrated second-go-round (which brought some stability), and 2012, it's been a tire fire since Super Bowl XXVI.

For al his talent, RGIII doesn't (yet) have the temperament needed to be a franchise QB. Teammates have described him as aloof, which rubs people the wrong way. He's driven coaches mad with freelancing and holding the ball too long, though both coaches he's played for share blame, because neither really wanted him. The front office failed to build a line to protect him.

Cousins is a placeholder until the new GM gets his guy.

It's best for DC to just cut their losses, wipe the egg off its face (for the billionth time), cut RGIII, and move on. I think RGIII has a place in the league, I just don't know where.

Meanwhile, barring a miracle, this season has 5 wins written all over it.

The only time I come to the Org....for the football threads.

It's where I can catch up and learn about other teams, and to be made fun of for being a Patriots Fan.

How many games suspension? Apparently ZERO!!!!

Can't wait for my football and chicken wing Sundays to come back! woot!

I don't care what Skip Bayless says, my Eagles are taking the East from Dallas this year. That said...I doubt we're beating Green Bay or Seattle in the playoffs. Brady going to the lay the smackdown tonight.
