The same QB that's lead the NFL for the last couple of years in interceptions. What was it last year 18? Not including the interceptions that were dropped, 10. You don't WIN NFL with those stats.

Ok.....name a TEAM that has contended for a title in the last 50 years who had the WORST Defense in the NFL. I'll wait.....

So you didn't read my post #50... :hmm:

It appears we shall have to agree to disagree... but Cutlers play will back up everything I've said about the man since day one. Paying a clipboard QB all that money...

I likes. A decent pickup. He may instantly become the team's top corner.

At least he goes after the football. He may get beat some but he plays

hard nose football.

As far a greed and NFL...

Its my understanding the package deals have contribute to the high cost for cable and big money makers for the NFL and college basketball / football. For years the cable companies claimed that cable packages were a necessity to keep cable cost down. Out of all the basic bundled cable providers ESPN receives the most money, 7 dollars from each bundled package.

It seems to me cable companies and ESPN work in tandem to keep people tied to packages... they were able to get in everybodies pocket, sports fan or not. Its was a win and fleece game for all parties. Streaming has kinda blown up the plan. Folks are in no ways streaming as they will be and yet ESPN is cutting their high paid sportcasters and programming left and right. Streaming has cut in on their bottom line.

What about the Xuum stream player using kodi/xbmc?

phunkdaddy, Xuum? I've haven't had any personal experience but I know a few people who have. I've been told, the remote control is a joke, sometime is works sometimes it doesn't. It would be best if you download Kore App from the Android store / Google Play store. That's if you own an Android phone / tablet. The official Kodi / XBMC remote app via the Apple store doesn't work with Android devices. The Apple store does sale other Kodi / XBMC remotes, but even I have found these remote apps a pain in the ass to setup... they don't tell you upfront you'll need to setup them up.I've been told some channels on Kodi & TVAddons don't support Android.

I've been told HD viewing has been spotty... they weren't sure if these is a hardware or software issue. Some channels aren't support in Android either... but most of the TVAddons movies channels ae present. I've notice they've dropped from $ 180.00, to $90.00, to $69.00 bucks over at Amazon. That's always a red herring that's its not selling well for whatever reason.

Just to make sure everyone has a clear understanding of Kodi & TVAddons.

Kodi and XBMC are one in the same. Previoulsy known as XBMC... Kodi's, XBMC new name. XBMC is a Microsoft trademark hence, the name change. Kodi and TVAddons are not one in the same. There's the rub. I'd describe Kodi as basic, really basic cable and TVAddons as Comcast, "gold package". lol

There's been a tiff between Kodi and TVAddons because Kodi accuses TVAddons of allowing copyrighted material onto their servers/system. I could start my on channel and/or download my movie and TV DVD/BlueRay collection to TVAddons servers, I couldn't do this with Kodi'.

98% of movies and TV shows on TVADDONS are 1080p and higher. Some guy or guys in China always upload newly released HD movies in theaters to TVAddons...with Chinese subtitles. Its been my experience within 14 to 21 days you can watch any theater released movies... without subtitles on Kodi/TVAddons. Yeah, some folks are still going to theaters with camcorders, but those types of uploads are far and very few between. Some folks download their VHS collection with mixed results in terms of clarity but again, this isn't the norm.

ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, PBS, AMC, BET, HBO, Encore, IFC, Sundance, Showtime, Starz, the Discovery Channel are all uploading their content to TVAddons. How do I know this? I watch BET's "Being Mary Jane". When a new BMJ episode airs, I can watch it the same week on "IWannaWatchTV, without commercials. You can watch Empire (FOX), the same week, without commercials. I've watched Queen Latifah's, "Bess" the same week it debut on HBO. TVAddons doesn't just have the current stuff, it damn near has everthing... classic movies and TV series. You wanna watch Wonder Woman anytime you want phunkdaddy? Its on there... lol

I said all of this so you'll understand
when you see these Android media boxes for sale -unless otherwise stated - you'll get Kodi (XMBC) only. Kodi alone would be an underwhelming experience without TVAddons. Most Android systems are open devices, they can be "rooted"... setup and controlled they way the user wants it. Apple is a closed system...that's why some people choose to "jailbreak" their Apple devices. Again the rubb: You'll either have to wait on someone - TVAddons being the perfect example - to write program or you can "sideload" your own Andriod device. The latter is very easy to do, checkout the link above. I don't like Android devices per say because they ares 24 data collecting / spying machines; Tony and I have issues with this but some folks don't care.

Windows and Apple notebooks/desktops, and/or Android tablets... go over to TVAddons.

You can install TVAddons yourself using the "TVMC For.." install. It's basically a one click setup, you add whatever channels you wish in film or music sections. Checkout Youtube to see how easy it is. As I mentioned before, you could then tether your computer or netbook to you TV via HDMI.You can test it out and see if streamings a viable option for you.

Note: For those who have pre-digital TV's setting in a corner, using digital converter boxes, or paying cable so the TV will work....

If you don't care about local programming, you can add a Raspberry Pi streaming CNN, MSNBC, FOX, ESPEN 3, CSPAN and Kodi / TVAddons your TV.Raspberry Pi Model B 512GB boards are still for sale. Unlike Rasperry Pi Model B+ (512GB) and Rasperry Pi 2 (dual core, 1gb) models, you can hook the Pi below to an older TV via RCA cables. One of the yellow RCA plugs go into the Pi, the other white and yellow RCA plugs go into the TV. The Pi is too small to support TV speakers, you'll connect a speaker or a pair of self-powered speakers to the blue 3.5 plug on the Pi. You could use a usb bluetooth dongle plugged into the Pi and tether Bluetooth speakers. Again, I'll have a video about all of this coming soon. lol lol lol

I think I've discovered the answer to me and Gray's prayer. The Channel Master DVR.
Works great with your HD antenna and VuDu,Pandora, and YouTube are streaming
services already included. No monthly subscription fees. You just pay for certain content
you may want to see. There should be more streaming services included in the future. This unit seems to pay for itself.

We are in the infancy of all of this... streaming. With all the devices out there, all have pros and cons.

Don't give up on the Kodi / TVAddons / Pi.

We were paying 200 plus every month to Comcast... 5000 channles with nothing to look at. lol We have 6 Pi's... 5 on TV's and one on our router as our media server (the whole set-up) $390.00. Pi paid for itself in month and a half. Sports will have to get on board are else... it was dumb for the NFL to plug the plug on net streaming but as Babynoz said, greed.

Others need to get in the Wifi biz. There isn't enough competition and cable/Internet companies have a conflict of interest. It shouldn't be that AT&T, Comcast, or Warner can throttle down bandwith of FireTV, Netflixs, Chrome, SlingTV or whomever because they are in competition with cable and Internet providers. neutral

When most folks are at home and there's nothing to watch... WTH. rolleyes

I've hooked up almost all of my family with Pi's. My daughter had amazon prime, netflixs, spotiy, cable, net, all that shit adds up over time to a small fortune. lol She pulled the plug on everything accept for net services. She did pay one of those lifetime Plex subs (running on a Pi) for her biggest TV at her home, but she runs Pi everywhere else. Sista girl was whining about she couldn't live without the tennis network. I told her, as much money as she was spending, she could fly and see Serena play and have money to spare. lol

I quit doing contracts with phones 2 years ago when I was with Verizon. That experience taught me never again. I was paying more for a non smart phone than I
am paying for a smartphone minus contracts with T Mobile. T Mobile works best for
me in that regard. I'm in control of what type of phone and payment plan I want. I'll never sign another contract with cable or satellite again. My contract is up

I ain't shame. lol lol We use VIOP at home and I have a hotspot router in my car.., that pays for itself now. I don't do contracts, I'm not paying for any tech that requires me to get a bill or is charged to my credit card every 30 days. We pay for beer, food, lights & gas, water, insurance, and Wi-Fi. That's it... lol

They all suck. I have AT&T ... some bundle package BS for phone (land line), BASIC CABLE, and internet and my bill is $200 per month. Unfortunately I have aa 2 year contract with them. I can assure you that was not what I was told when I signed. On top of that, my cell phone bill is another $140 a month (through AT&T as well). At least that contract is up in October ................

eek

Wow...............my cell phone bill is $35.00/month, no contract unlimited everything.

The owners of Directv were smart.

They suckered AT&T out of $49 BILLION dollars just before the bottom falls out of cable TV.
