bald spot from bleaching? !!!! Oh lord- I bleached my hair platinum a week ago and today noticed a small bald spot on the side of my head  I am freaking out! I can easily hide it but I'm just afraid the hair won't grow back! What a disaster! Has anyone had this happen? Will the hair grow back? | |

the reason I didn't go to a professional is because I did this years ago and did a better job than times I've gone to a beautician - when I've gone to a professional, I've always left with orange hair and they tell me, "Your hair won't go that light" ----- turns out I guess they were right! Will go that light but end up with a bald spot- geeessshhhh --- NEVER AGAIN!! | |

But---- Bleaching IS hair suicide and i will not be keeping this up! I love the color it turned out/ beautiful platinum white but when it comes times to do my roots I guess I will have to go back dark- I am NOT putting bleach on this again! | |

I've used 3% hydrogen peroxide to lighten my hair for maybe 5 or 6 years now and never had any issues. My hair's receding anyway, but I've not had any bald spots or acceleration of my loss of hair. What I use is mild, though, and I only leave it in at any one time for about 10-15 minutes max.
