I believe in everyone's right to define their identity however they choose, including gender. This was brave for her to do this so publically.

Looks like Jessica Lange, that being said Bruce/Cait has had too much face work done. She looks too pulled.

I think she looks fantastic. And that seems to be the general response to these images.

That said, I do hope that amid the generally positive reception Caitlyn is receiving, the lion's share of it isn't offered contingent upon her beauty or traditional femininity. Not only would that be a concession to the same objectification to which we hold all women, but it would be a sadly wrong-headed basis on which to support transpeople. If they are deserving of affirmation, it's not because they are hot or "passable," but because they are human.

Someone at work showed me this picture and I thought it was her daughter and that she was going to set me up on a date with her. Then she said it was Bruce and I turned red. At this point, "Caitlyn" looks (somewhat) better than Jessica Lange. Jessica has had so much bad plastic surgery...her face is starting to slide off her head.
