Good news, last year the hollywood reporter reported that Kit H. got a new contract for season 7. Which means Jon Snow is still alive or the witch brings him back to life. (Could be a walker too.)

But there is conflict all over the place so who knows? shrug

[Ugh. If you watched Sunday’s Game of Thrones finale then you know the sad truth: Jon Snow was stabbed (by his own men no less), and is most likely dead. I wanted to believe that he was maybe not dead, but then Kit Harington dashed all my hopes. In an interview withEntertainment Weekly, Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington said Jon Snow is definitely dead. Or, at least, he was told Jon Snow is dead, which could be an important distinction.

This is my understanding of it. I had a sit-down with [showrunners] Dan and David, we did the Tony Soprano walk [letting an actor know they’re being whacked]. And they said, “Look, you’re gone, it’s done.” … Quite honestly, I have never been told the future of things in this show, but this is the one time I have. They sat me down and said, “This is how it is.” If anything in the future is not like that, then I don’t know about it — it’s only in David and Dan and [author] George’s heads. But I’ve been told I’m dead. I’m dead. I’m not coming back next season. So that’s all I can tell you, really.]

People do lie though, I mean it's a actor's job.

Jon Snow is dead might be 100% true. That doesn't mean the witch can't bring him back to life. The real answer will be given to us via the internet in August, because GOT starts filming then. You know if Kit shows up on set, we will hear about it. That I'm not coming back statement could be true or just partially true. He could comeback season 7 or sometime during season 6 and said they changed their mind.

I might add most of the actors never got a speech about how they were going to be killed off, they just read it in the script and were surprised. Plus, what character is going to rally the troops to defend the wall against walkers????

99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

missfee's additional questions . . .

To answer:

6. I am not so sure Stannis is dead, but I would love to see whether Davos gets Jon out of the Snow (pause for groan here) and maybe mobilize the Wildlings to do something, whether fight for Winterfell or otherwise. He's the craftiest guy in Westeros who is not named Tyrion Lannister.

7. From what I hear, Sam is headed for Maester training near his home. Maybe we get to lay eyes
on his family. Maybe Davos tracks him down.

8. Part of me thinks that the Night King was actually beckoning Jon at Hardhome. So, maybe? The Black Watch guys can't see beyond their own noses so they may leave Jon there to "turn."

9. He'd have to find Longclaw first.

10. Well, he'll be older, and have his uncle in his ear, so maybe.

11. They're all criminals or self-centered. Thorne has sealed their fate by killing Snow.

12. Who knows? I think it's temporary.

13. Tyrion will be smart enough to hand the reins back, especially since (1) he's seen Drogon, and (2) she might return with thousands of Dothraki at her back.

True, but it seems the characters that really made the show go around are all gone. Unless this is a "calm before the storm" type situation where season 6 will be a beast, then this is the beginning of the end for the TV series. As with normal HBO fashion, the bulk of their shows are always strong between seasons 1-4....after that, it gets dull and goes downhill. Never fails. I believe the only show who had consistently strong seasons for the duration of its run was The Sopranos.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

My heart stopped there for a moment, then I laughed.

To be honest he's the reason I actually decided to give the show a try. I'd seen most of Jason Momoa's parts on YouTube and was planning on skipping it entirely when I saw he died.

Emilia Clarke is the First Game of Thrones Cast Member to Admit Jon Snow Might Return

People read that and are like "Yay!"

Then you read the article and she really doesn't know, still cute picture.
