I think it broke the internet.

Looks promising. Some interesting ingredients from the classic Star Wars movies combined with a fresh and cool look without looking too sterile like the prequels.

But why do some of those Stormtroopers have different helmets? I´m not talking about the updated look of the helmets , I´m talking about those Stormtroopers in the background who resemble the planet Hoth gear wearing Stormtroopers....with the vizers being slightly narrow compared to the regular helmets.

Also, and I know this has been discussed among the hardcore fans...how come that that Finn dude is black?

Not that I mind, I´m actually happy to see more diversity in Star Wars but aren´t the Stormtroopers supposed to look identical? I thought they were all Jango Fett clones? Or aren´t they? And Jango was not black, he looked like a Maori.

I hope Han Solo survives to be in the next parts, too.

From my understanding sometime between episode 3 and episode 4 The Empire stopped using clones and started to actively recruit local citizens as troops. Remember that Luke was going to go to the academy to be trained when A New Hope started. So the clones were/being/had phased out.

I'm still not convinced. JJ has a thing for making convoluted, completely nonsensical stories that don't add up. Into Darkness was just a series of plot points that didn't serve any purpose to the story. Super 8 was so clumsy in the way it paralleled a deadly alien creature to a boy finally accepting his mother's death. He knows how to put movies together, but doesn't know how to tell stories.

The trailer just looks like a fan service film. Basically what we are getting is x wings, tie fighters, star destroyers, R2D2 and his knockoff, Han and Chewie. Pretty much everything we got in the originals. At least in the prequels, Lucas tried to give us completely new worlds, characters and technologies.

Han is my least favorite of the three OT main characters but I'm satisfied that we finally get to see one of them in character. I watched the whole Celebration panel live today and Carrie Fisher promised no metal bikini (boo!). That rolling ball droid made an appearance too, it's not CGI. It was amazing to see it rolling on stage and clearly means that we're 6 months away from getting microchipped with the mark of the beast. I hope there is a new full trailer with Avengers: Age of Ultron where we get to see Luke and Leia as well.

Even I'm excited about this and I haven't watched a Star Wars movie since the thrid one (that's called Episode 6, right?).

Hmmm...I was just binge watching Clone Wars on netflix the other nignt.

The trailer looks interesting but I haven't decided if I wanna geek out yet.
