This is actually a very good question. As a kid i lived in a really rough neighborhood. And i saw some crazy shit... lived through some crazy shit. But thought horror movies were the most ''intense'' movies that you could make. And it sparked a huge interest in film making for me. I later realized i used horror movies as an escape from my reality. And nowadays i see horror movies and thing's in it (zombies, ghosts, vampies etc) as pure fiction and entertainment. Especially with violent gangs running around everywhere int he world. And people who kill others over the littlest things.

Not to mention rapists, pedophiles, psychos etc.

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

I don't believe that ghouls, zombies, vampires, or werewolves exist, so I'm not afraid of them. But ghosts? yeah, I'm somewhat afraid of them. I know a few people who've had paranormal experiences, and I've had a couple experiences that i haven't been able to debunk. About 5 years ago, i caught a disembodied voice on tape, that i still can't explain.

Overall though. I'm more afraid of some sicko with a gun, than i am of the paranormal. As with Gunsnhalen, ive seen some crazy stuff in my lifetime(murder, dead bodies, etc)

Rest in Peace Bettie Boo. See u soon.

Ghosts arent synonymous with satanism, (if you werent implying that sorry, it just seemed you were).

In fact generally the exact opposite. Most times as long as you arent fucking with ouija or anything like that, most paranormal experiences you or others will have will be from passed family members or friends. That or the house or place you're at might have spirits trapped which the best course of action for that is to get a medium around to help them cross. It's as soon as you start fucking about with ouija that 99.9% of the time the bad shit starts occuring and thats the shit that scares me. Honestly I think people that do ouija thinking it's a game are idiots. My friend wakes up to this day with deep (almost bleeding) scratches from the time she NEARLY did a session (she drew it out but decided against at the last minute). The scratches are in three as well which has been suggested is connected to demonic activity because it is trying to mock the holy trinity. Scary stuff, man.

But yeah apart from that, I'm more afraid of murderers and the like.

I have a Ouija board on display with all my board games on a shelf just to freak people out. It's so stupid that the world's most boring toy scares the crap out of people.

Vampires of course, they're emotionally annoying and they suck the very life out of you.

What the heck is a ghoul? The word conjures no mental image.

Ghost make me depressed I prefer not even thinking about them. I think even Anne Rice suggest ignoring them, they have no contribution to the world.

In the forest, I'd be scared of lions, tigers, and bears and they're not evil but the can cause me a whole lot pain.

Having my well being threatened is what scares me, the source really doesn't matter.

Have you ever used it? I mean properly. Like, a lot of people that think Ouija boards are BS tend to not really give it chance to work or don't know how to use it 'safely' (tbf I don't think there is any safe way to use ouija if you are not spiritually mature enough to, ie: knowing shit about the astral plane and how to be safe when not grounded). I mean there is a hell of a lot to talk about when it comes to these things and yes- the human mind is a VERY powerful thing and suggestion can be a cause of 'paranormal experiences', so I'm not ruling out science here. The user of the board can make a huge impact on how it responds as some people are more 'open' to it than others. Also, the amount of people who are involved can make a huge difference because the idea behind the board is this; Spirits use the collective energy of people involved touching the planchette to move it and spell out words. Therefore the more people = the easier it is for the spirit to use the board if it is inexperienced people using it. Some people that play alone can get very good at it but this is highly discouraged because being alone in a session can make you very vunerable.

I've only ever been 'involved' in one ouija session and by involved I mean I just sat and watched, I didn't want to get involved directly. It wasn't even at night or anything haha, we did it in school because the school I went to was over 500 yrs old. It was only a few years ago, I was in year 10 (15 years old) so that would make it 2010. We didn't even really get anything, but to be fair it wasn't a proper seance because there was only one person controlling it because we used a pendulum as a pointer so only one person really could. I think the girl in charge was bullshitting, we didn't get much. Just someone who said they were female and 13. I still believe they can work though but I refuse to get involved in one now, I was a bit stupid back then and thought it was 'edgy' because I was a teenager rebelling against what my mother and aunt had told me about them (my aunt esspecially, she's pretty spiritual).

I think when it comes to ouija boards, I just think about it like this: If you have many religions (christians, pagans, etc) all agreeing on one thing- that ouija boards do no good- you had better stay away from them lmao.
