Photography.

I don't do it often enough, but when I do I truly enjoy it.

MIND YOU, I have a cheap camera and no training whatsoever, so it is an informal hobby.

Awesome, that is a great hobby. Do you carry your camera everywhere every day? You should do it more often! I don't have a fancy DSLR also, but I do enjoy taking pictures with my phone some times..I used to organize pictures every weekend to sort them out by dates (ok mostly food pictures but still) and I still have those in my computer, definitely brings back some precious memories smile

I'm now a business Director, but its not my love, I just get paid a forture, so its hard to move away.

I'm actually a professional photographer (on heart and talent) and I dabble a couple of times a year, but it pays less, so its become a hobby.

Drawing mostly, I'm an Illustration student but 80% of the things I draw are hobby based.

I also enjoy record collecting and cosplay.

SO
.

That make use an artist / photographer in my minds eye. A costly camera nor the lack of "formal" training isn't a barometer for those who have an eye to capture the essence of life via a camera. I'm all for formal traing and education but a lot of folks have the capacity and/or gift to develop their talent on their own.

By the way PJ, may want to consider buying on of those lens kits for iPhone's, Amazon. I attened an exibit last year of photographers who took pictures only with their cell phones and tablets'. Wow - you would have assumed this guys used cameras to take their pics - I saw some amazing stuff.

Playing the acoustic guitar: steel, classical and yuk. The last couple of years, I've been taking course in lutheir. It was different when I only had one guitar, the cost of having it set-up once a year were nominal. If you own more than one guitar... the cost can add up.

I love computer and technology. I buil and repair computers. I'm getting my feet wet learning computer program language... Python. I hope to become Linux certified in a couple of years.

I cosplay mostly anime characters. I'm cosplaying Stocking Anarchy and World is Mine Hatsune Miku this year at a convention I go to every year smile

I REALLY want to crossplay Prince though but I don't think anyone would recognise me unless I cosplayed PR Prince. I really want to cosplay the outfit with the chain hat and the gun mic but people would just be confused if I did that one haha

Philately all the way, stamps I mean

Big and specialised collections of Malta, Ireland, Samoa, Fiji and Tonga, proper stamps guys not Disney and Diana junk from the Grenadines of St Vincent or Hungarian packet stamps of the communist period.

.

I write newsletters for 3 philatelic clubs here, are on the committees of 4 and a Vice President of one. Apart from Prince, Philately is my other abiding passion.

I just started to learn sewing. And I love it.

I also love cooking and making up recipes.

And I actually like going to the gym these days. But that's not a hobby, it became a new addiction. Great addiction though. I'm very happy with it, makes me feel good and loose weight.

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

That's soooo cool. I admire anyone who can sew and those who have the patience to learn.

I really love it. However, I'm still in the very beginning. And it does demand a lot of patience.

Normally I'm not a patient person at all, but somehow, I manage to keep calm and carry on, no matter what goes wrong.
