Marshawn Lynch.

Dude is probably my favorite football player right now. Not only is an absolute beast of a running back. He's a representation of us big, strong, powerful men (physically wise)

And he's so eccentric with his interviews. It's like watching a weird musician you like (like the one this site is based off of) people may find him to be an asshole cause of that. But he's unique for the way he is and i love him for that.

What are some other opinions on Marshawn? do you love him? hate him? what do you think about his ''anti media'' talks?

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

Love Marshawn. Still grieving the fact he didn't get the ball and I'm not even FROM Seattle. Worst play EVER! About his persona and anti-media stance, not that everyone needs to be eloquent and Ivy League-ish but I think he's about as "deep" as his locks unfortunately. I wish he could communicate with the depth and insight Richard Sherman does (without the assholery) on such important and profound issues of the day (the media, black male agency, perception, commodification, intellectual property, etc.) given his platform. He'd be the ULTIMATE Beast then. He seems to be surly and unsure of himself but wants to stand for SOMETHING and is still figuring out what that something is or is going to be and until then, and thereafter, it'll be on HIS terms how he talks about it. I ain't mad!

The beast is my favorite player and I will miss him when he leaves in 2 or 3 years. My second all time favorite Seahawk is Largent. Up in Seattle, Lynch is as popular as Russel Wilson. Seeing how Russel probably gets more air time country wide. BTW not only doesn't do the interview thing, he doesn't practice they way the rest of the team or people who play the same position do. He practices far less than the average player in that position. This system works for Lynch, keeps him strong and able to play the game (knee issues). The Seahawks and the coach are completely fine with what he does.

Talented RB, but I don't understand where he is coming from.

I would be nice 2 know, so I can relate to it and him.
