"Ted" was kinda boring and too close to "Family guy" in humour. It could of been alot more ambitous. A shame as Wahlberg was bloody great in it! Played it straight and deserved better. I mean, even the bears voice was Seth AGAIN! Change it up please.
and Iam getting sick of Seth's formula's for anything he does. I.e, put a character that in the normal world shouldn't exist (Brian, Stewie, Roger, that boring bear from Cleveland show and Ted), and just have no one mention the "elephant in the room" that, that said character shouldn't exist, but everyone just ignores it anyway. It worked well in "family guy" and "american dad", but come on now.
More importantly, writers should stop relying constantly on pop culture references. Again, funny in "family guy", who were not the first by all means but used it ALOT, and funny in "American Dad", but "Ted" uses it too and it's boring now. "How I met your mother" was full of this shit too. Yes folks, we get how you like to refer to old shit, now fucking write some good actual jokes of ur own man.
