You still got it !! thumbs up! clapping

As far as the shower thing. I shower at least once a day, and sometimes twice.

Most definitely in the morning though. If i don't shower when i wake up, i feel like crap the whole day.

Once i went a week without taking a shower and it was...lets say, interesting. The reason was because I had the flu real bad. That(the flu)along with the medicine i was taking, and the week's worth of dirt i had on my body, had me wigging out big time. It was like i was in hell.

Also i didn't brush my teeth for that whole time as well....

Ugh... the flu... I am a hot mess when I got sick like that. Its never pretty... that and the stomach flu that has you shitting and up-chucking at the same time... you need to plant your ass on the seat and grab a bucket.

No fun!!!

Glad to hear you are on the mend. hug

and good to know I can still contribute to a giggle or two around these parts. biggrin

I could have a temperature of 103º and I would still take a shower, wash my hair, brush my teeth, and put on clean jammies. An illness always seems to feel even worse if I'm not clean.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

nod See. It feels so good having that warm water run over your body even though you feel like crap. Putting on those clean jammies and crawling into a warm bed with fresh, clean sheets and a cup of herbal tea... cloud9

Every day when I wake up (gotta make up, another reason to make it last!).
Every evening before bed (don't wash my hair, just body).
After every work-out.
Before going out to eat, if it involves changing into nice clothes.

So minimum two showers a day. Three showers at least three days a week. Every once in awhile is there a day that mandates four showers.

It would be fun to make your own soaps and lotion. It's probably a lot cheaper (and perhaps better) than the stuff that you buy at a store.

I would say its more expensive....

I used to buy dollar soaps/commercial soaps tend to be less expensive, but there is good reason for that.

Commercial soap is made with detergents and filler products and desentitizers, so homemade cold process soap is much healthier for the skin and once you go real soap there really is no going back.

Less pimples, fewer rashes, softer skin.

You heal. Plus, they are fun to make. If you don't have an explosion and blind yourself or melt your skin off.... just kidding... not really.

buying the tools, and ingredients can be costly at first but worth it in the long run.

I was cussing up a storm when I found out about all the stuff I had to buy, but I am a complicated heffa and I don't do "simple".

lol

RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I shampoo my hair twice weekly, no more is needed since I have 3b/c hair type and its dry and fine.

I shower in the mornings, I HATE soaking in a tub since I have oily skin and I still feel dirty after.

Floss my teeth 2x's daily. and I try to brush my teeth after every meal.

I wake up and oil pull my teeth... eat and brush afterwards.

I drink coffee twice a day, depends.

I shit daily, I don't own a bidet... I am that typical American that uses toilet paper, but if I get peanut-buttery (tends to happen if I am menstrual) then I just shower to remove any offensive residue, to stay fresh smelling.

I make my own soaps and lotion.... at any given time I wash up with 4-5 different soaps, simply because its fun to do so.

I wipe front to back.... because of my girl parts.

I use U by Kotex, pads, tampons, and I like a toilet paper that is stroner and doesn't leave the dingle berries behind.

My shit today was soft and a light brown. I shit daily, usually do the do in the morning, but if its the holidays and I am eating richer foods I crap after every meal. Depends.

I wash my hands everytime I come inside my house, cook, clean, I am always washing my hands.

I use a salt crystal deoderant ... and my lotions scents my pits like cake.

Yeah.... I'll sniff my crotch later and give you an update.

biggrin

Anything more is just over kill. After all, I have to drag buckets of water from the river to heat up on the woodstove before I pour it into the big metal wash tub.

nod So true... even when I am in pain the warmth or the water eases pain. Everthing is worse when you are dirty.
