How Tall Do You Wish To Be?

I always hear people say they want to be taller. If you could have your way with it. What height would you choose? and why?

I'm currently 6'5 lol but i wish i was at least 6'9 or 6'10. I can't imagine what deadlifting would be like. Especially at that height! but it would be look awesome. I think i want to be that crazy height. Just for the aesthetic look of it. Being very tall and being a body builder as well.

6'4" that would be ideal. 5'10" is not my ideal.

I like where I am (6', 200 pounds) and at my age, I'm just happy to STAY where I am!

(Don't let Serious see this thread!!!)

I would like to be 6'-2". That would be perfect. Just a bit taller than the average person. Not too tall to draw attention or have trouble with shirtsleeves.

At 5'-6" I feel like a midget sometimes.

In fact I read somewhere that Napoleon was 5'-6" - which was meant to state that "he wasn't really that short" but what I got out of it was; "Man, I am SHORT."

Too late razz
no no no! I am 5,25 (1,60) and I like it. I hate being short when it comes to concerts though and I can't see anything if I am not in the front row even when I wear high heels. bawl. And it sucks if I cannot reach things on higher shelves and such.
I prefer men to be around 5,6 - 5,9. My last bf was nearly 6,5 - I had to remind myself that it's not that bad when we are sitting or lying in bed lol

I'm 5'10", when I was younger I would of preferred to be a few inches shorter as I liked my high heels & also I got tired of all the comments.
Now tho i wouldn't change my height 4 all the tea in China biggrin

Also, what would all the little old ladies do without me around to get the stuff down from the top shelves in the supermarket?

There is one thing that still bugs me about being a tall woman tho & that is that you can't blend in...and there are times when you need to...

5'9" being female I think that would be prefect. I use to be 5'4" recently I was told I'm 5'3", something isn't right.

I'm happy with my height, just shy of 5'7...but most people think I am taller because I'm in heels 95% of the time. Most people think I am tall and closer to 5'8 so usually just say I'm that height to avoid people disputing it.

I'm 5'8 and I would rather be no taller than 5'5 or so because the selection of tall clothing is still very limited. sad

Yeah you've definitely got a point there. My Mum was 5'5" & she had a much easier time than me clothes shopping.
She always wanted to be tall tho & I wanted to be your height... the grass is always greener hey! sigh

I'm 5'10". An even 6' would be cool, but I don't think I'd want to be taller than that.

I'm 6'2" which seems to be popular with the ladies. I would not want to be taller because that would be kind of freakish. The ladies seem to like it. Never dated a taller woman. That would be strange.

I'm 6'2 courtesy of a Mother that is 5'9 and a Father that is 5'10...I hope they're my Biological Parents...LOL...Anyways...I didnt like being Tall when I took my Ex to Dollywood..She's a Rollercoaster Freak and my legs felt cramed & uncomfortable on every ride..The first time I saw her 2-door mini-convertible I wondered if my Tall azz could squeeze in there and I did. Getting out of the car was the tricky part...I know people said "I'm gonna sit here and watch that Tall Dude fold his entire body to fit inside that Little car"...

I'm 5'5". I don't recall ever caring to be taller or shorter either way, other than when I can't see standing at shows. For that reason it would be nice to be taller, but otherwise shrug .

I'm 5'5" but I have a long torso. I need petite for pants and occasionally I buy long in shirts.

I don't think I look that ill-proportioned but it does make me wonder when buying clothes can be so difficult.

er

None of this makes any sense to me, because I'm from Europe & we got the metric system over here, so I don't even know what 5 foot is. And didn't our guy Prince prove that you can make it big even if you're short?

Long arms are always hard to fit and looking for pants that fit right is hell for tall women. I don't care for clothes shopping. razz

Supersoulfighter- I don't know how tall Prince is but I'm about his size. Not as thin as him though! I'm 5 ft. 103 lbs. and once when I saw him in concert I could not believe that he was so little! Smaller than me! He must weigh 95 lbs.!

an

I'm 5'10" and have just started wearing elevator shoes to make me 6'1". I love them. I'd love to add another inch or 2 but I think it starts to look more obviously disproportioned. Dont know if i could deal with being 6'9 or taller. I think your head would bump into alot of shit all the time - and forget flights! They're painful at 5'10"!

I'm 5'11"(1/2) but i wish i was at least 6'1". People say that i look pretty darn tall but 5'11" isn't all that big. I'm one of those people who got big young and never grew much after that(in Height).

Anyway its funny. My mom's side of the family is short(mom was 4'11(what it said on her id), but my dad was 6'3".

All things considered. I guess i should be grateful for the height that i do have.

I do admire super tall people though.

Rest in Peace Bettie Boo. See u soon.
