Amazing Chris Rock interview.

Rock talks about many issues; his views about about race are dead on:

Liberals are racist too. Amen.

All you others say Hell Yea!! woot!

That was a damn good interview. clapping

I absolutely loved this part...

But the thing is, we treat racism in this country like it’s a style that America went through. Like flared legs and lava lamps. Oh, that crazy thing we did. We were hanging black people. We treat it like a fad instead of a disease that eradicates millions of people. You’ve got to get it at a lab, and study it, and see its origins, and see what it’s immune to and what breaks it down.

It needs to be repeated and repeated often to the fools trying to claim that racism miraculously ended in the 60's and somehow President Obama brought it back to divide the country. rolleyes

I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

Glad this interview was posted here, because I take issue with Rock's statement about how it's "unfair that you (white people) can inherit money that you didn't work for".

If parents save a lot of money by working their ass off and by spending a lot less than they earn, they have every right to pass that money down to their children with the hope that it will give them a better life. Nobody should feel ashamed for having great parents like that, and it doesn't matter what color they are. When Chris Rock dies is he gonna leave all his money to charity because it "wouldn't be fair" to leave it to his children? Don't bet on it!

"Never let nasty stalkers disrespect you. They start shit, you finish it. Go down to their level, that's the only way they'll understand. You have to handle things yourself."

It is amazing how the best comedians are also razor-sharp and very intelligent.

It is the BEST interview I ever read! Chris Rock is the TRUTH! It is his time now. He will make HISTORY! Chris will be the first comedian to win an Oscar for his Directing, writing & acting in his comedic project "TOP FIVE"...Mark my word. Hollywood adores him. Like they adore prince

eye will ALWAYS think of prince like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. eye mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that prince wasn't of this earth, eye would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. prince

I don't have time to read the whole interview right now. I am thankful that we at least have some comedians willing to tackle the more painful issues that plague this country. I wish more female comedians would do this. (I think I will stop and buy the magazine for my commute home.)

There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin.
