How About an 'Appreciation Day' for Our Org Mods? I have been thinking about the importance of moderators to this and any site where people with similar interests gather and share their comments, views and opinions, and general appreciation. It seems that for the long time that the Org has been around, the Mods have kept things in order. Most of us do not know what it takes to be a Mod, the hours, (the restraint), nor the levels of interest (real or imaginary) that they provide gratis to the Org. How about a show of appreciation for Mods past and present for helping make our Purple World a little bit better?

Credit where credit is due, I gotta say the mods on this site are pretty cool and laid back. On forums I've visited in the past, a lot of the mods are just on powertrips and get the ban hammer out at the slightest thing. None of that here. Cleaning up shitposting can't be an easy job! Kudos. | |
