Nobody really cares about SF Giants on a larger scale and they were not expected to make it this far. Well here they are once again, in an even year for the third time in five years. It took a dramatic torturous moment and a big home run to get to that point. It is sooooo satisfying and exciting!

This should be a great World Series!! Goooo Giants!! Time to go shopping again.

Unfortunately every time I hear the name Royals, I sing the name to the tune of that stinking Lorde song. lol!

Maybe next year if the injured players who missed the playoffs are healthy again, the Orioles will do better. comfort

Let's not forget my favorite, The Quis ... Dan Quisenberry wink

I really hope the Royals win the series, but I think the advantage of postseason experience will be enough to carry San Francisco to the championship.

Kent Tekulve always reminded me of Bowser from Sha Na Na! lol

That '79 We Are Family group of guys made the Pirates my favorite National League team, I absolutely loved how they came back against the Orioles that year.

My favorite pitcher of all time is probably Dennis Eckersley.

Just read this story about the guy in the Marlins jersey behind home plate for every World Series game, seems like a very rich and very lonely guy craving attention.

http://news.yahoo.co...27085--spt.html

It would be one thing if he was spending all that money on tickets for the love of the game, but when you see him having phone conversations during play and talking about "If I move to the owner's suite, my friends couldn't see me" you get the feeling it's an ego thing.
