a friend of mine had 7 beers over a few hours at a work function and ended up at the hospital that night with pancreatitis and ended up getting his gall-bladder removed

looks that he had issues with his internal organs way before that night...

I once drank 11 beers in 4 hours an ended up pissing and vomiting, that's "all", the following day a hangover from hell

but my gall-bladder removed? hell no

I've never in my life blacked out. I usually stop drinking when I start vomiting which probably happens sooner for me than in most people from what I've observed so I never get to the blacking out stage. Unfortunately I don't make a particularly interesting drunk, I'll dance like a fool for hours, then go home vomit and go to bed.
