I... uhhh... well..... fuck!

So much I want to say, but the pure evil involved in the act of stealing someone's private nude photographs and distributing them to the world stops me from doing so. They are real, a great majority of them anyway. The Jennifer Lawrence pics certainly are - her style(s) in the images fit with the films she's done in the last few years and her lawyers are, like, suing the internet. I mean they are going HARD. I sincerely hope the people responsible are caught.

FTR, I DON'T believe there is some lesson to be learned by "celebrities" here. They're people, just like us, and they should be allowed to do whatever the hell they want in private, without fear.

I'm not saying I'm the smartest person in the world but what I am is the most paranoid! Pictures? In this day and age? But even the smartest and sincerest people can have a lapse in judgement.

I know people are free to do whatever they want in their own home....but with so many pics leaked of different people, can someone tell me the fascination with taking photos of yourself in the nude?


My missus and I don't get it. If you're married or have a partner you get to see your partner naked whenever you like more or less. And if you're single, what sort of message is it going to send to a potential partner if you're texting them nudey pics? Kinda spoils the mystery surely.


So is it for themselves? But they own mirrors surely, so what's that about? ... all a little bizarre to me...

Maybe it's a generational thing, but I don't understand why these young people feel the need to take so many naked pictures of themselves on their phones. I guess I can see if they happen to be in love with someone and want to send hot pics to their respective lovers, but haven't they learned from Kim Kardashian and Tommy Lee/Pamela Anderson about letting these intimate photos/videos travel across the information superhighway?

But what I find more disturbing is how these photos got hacked in the first place. Apparently the hacker didn't hack the celebrities' phones per se but hacked Apple's cloud computer. According to some tech experts, there was a flaw in the iPhones that allowed Apple to store a virtual copy of any information coming into their phones in their cloud computer. (I'm guessing Google does something similar for their Android devices.) If it's fairly easy for a hacker to get compromisingly intimate...um, infomation on a cell phone user, what about their stored passwords or other vital financial, health, or identity infomation? With more people ditching their computers for thir smartphones and tablets, hackers and other malware producers are migrating to mobile devices to steal critical data, and most people aren't nearly as savvy at protecting their cell phones and tablets from malware as they are protecting their computers.

But thats just it, the lesson learned is leak naked pics or a self porno and you get rewarded with celebrity and money. Society is fucked up.
