I don't want to wait 490 more fucking days! I've been watching episode 1 through 6 on bluray every month to get my fix.
This is the rumored schedule of new films:
2015: Episode VII

Those are the rumored lines of toys by Hasbro for the next 6 years.
When Star Wars first released in 1977, it not only revolutionized visual effects, but also a major facet of movie marketing: merchandising. Today, leaked toy images and box art text can lead to a bevy of rumors, but seeing as they have their origins in official tie-in merchandising, the rumors usually contain a grain of truth.
Which is more than can be said for the majority of rumors about Disney’s and Lucasfilm’s future plans for the Star Wars franchise. We’ve known for some time that more films than Episodes VII, VIII, and IX were planned, with Disney/Lucasfilm confirming they intend to release a newStar Wars movie every year (beginning with Episode VIIin 2015). As for who or what those movies will be about, the more popular rumors suggest origin stories for Boba F...d Han Solo, or even a film centering on a young Yoda. Continuing this tradition of a movie’s toys potentially revealing pertinent information earlier than any promotional material or press release, a recent Hasbro event may have unveiled just what Star Wars spinoffs are in the works. German websiteStarWars-Union.de was in attendance and are reporting Hasbro potentially revealed Star Wars film lineup through 2020, including projects titled Boba Fett,Solo, and Red Five. This news was later reported by well-known Star Wars blogs Jedi News and Making Star Wars, but those sites have since been asked to remove the information. And depending on how you’d like to interpret that, the requested removal could add more credence to these rumors or not. Here’s the release breakdown as revealed at the Hasbro event:
For the most part, this aligns with the rumors we’ve been hearing for a while, specifically the talk of spinoff films for Boba Fett and Han Solo. Though, it should be noted a project named Solo wouldn’t necessarily feature only Han, especially since it’s been widely assumed the Solo children will be appearing in the new trilogy. A Solo family adventure, perhaps? Most interesting, however, is the Red Five project. What could that imply? Well, “Red 5″ was Luke Skywalker’s call sign during the Battle of Yavin at the end of A New Hope. It’s been reused by a few characters before and since, but it’s almost always associated with a pilot, specifically an X-Wing pilot, in the service of the Rebellion. A project called Red Five has a lot of possibilities. For instance, it could be similar to the Fett and Solo projects and center on a young Luke Skywalker. Set betweenEpisodes IV and V, Red Five could follow Luke as rebel pilot before he continues his Jedi training with Yoda. Then again, we could see a new pilot take up the call sign of “Red 5″ or even a whole squadron of X-Wing pilots operating under the famous moniker. And while the leaked lineup appears to imply that these projects are films, seeing as they’re listed between the expected continuing saga Episodes, the first one listed – Star Wars: Rebels – is a TV show. If Red Five is indeed a new story about a Rebel squadron, then a television series might be a more fitting format, allowing audiences to check in once a week with their continuing adventures. What do you make of this leaked lineup for Star Wars projects through 2020? Does its origin at a Hasbro event and the fact it was removed from other Star Wars news sites make it more credible than other rumors? What do you think a Red Five project could be about? Sound off in the comments below! _________________________________________________ Star Wars Rebels premieres with a one-hour special this fall on Disney XD. Star Wars: Episode VII releases in theaters December 18th, 2015. Stay tuned to Screen Rant for more information about Boba Fett, Solo, and Red Five. Source: StarWars-Union.de (via /Film)

I will of course be there for the midnight showing, but some of the "spoilers" I've read lead me to say, "I have a bad feeling about this." Make it so, Number One...

ala alien vs predator .. i am looking forward to yoda vs e.t.
i dont think we need anymore of lukes back story .. he got 3 movies
clone wars had its moments so rebels will probably be pretty good
am nervous this whole thing will mirror prince career starting with emancipation .. too much and not good and never endingly getting worse with every movie
hopefully the han story will be his early years since he clearly got himself in quite a few pickles before even entering the scene
i will stab my eyes out if i have to watch an entire cgi yoda movie set in real life settings .. yoda was bad enough in clone wars and the prequels .. a real tragedy close to jar jar levels .. no young yoda pleaze
supposedly ep 7 has no cgi .. that would be a good start
i would love a movie about darth plageus and the rise of the sith .. i would like it even more if they flipped the script and the sith are the good guys all along and yoda is actual a manipulative lying little shit who steals sith babies and hides them on planets and then acts like their dad is the biggest evil in the world for searching the galaxy for his kids .. when really yoda is the evil one .. that would make it all worthwhile
