I just saw the promo for this show and wow how lame it is. A virgin is "accidently" artificial inseminated when she go's to the doctors I guess they are really running out of ideas. I don't think this show will last a full season

Yeah, for me it's not about race,religon or gender but the concept of the show. My sister was artificial inseminated and it was not an easy process .

It's gotten good critical praise so far, looks to me like the next Ugly Betty.

Saw the commercials for it. I don't "get" the concept, it sounds dumb to me, and I don't know who this is suppose to be catering to. I mean is this "how to file a lawsuit" for a doctor accidently artifically inseminating someone.

maybe it'll end up being a really cool, interdimensional romance wherein the lovely and ultra-chaste jane unwittingly drinks the kool-aid or stumbles into an ambush but anyway somehow ends up in a top-secret cloning lab whereby she is injected/spliced with the ultimate match in DNA creating the so-called chimera effect in jane.

as a chimera, jane will come to have two completely separate sets of DNA and will parthenogenically give birth to 'another'. her ordeal/adventure will attract the notice of the drop dead sexy scientist ("dick") in charge of the top secret cloning lab.

dick will fall helplessly in love with jane, aiding and abetting her measures taken to escape from the facility with her amazingly talented, yet oddly mutant offspring.

then a game of cat and mouse will ensue, whereby the extremely intelligent (obviously part alien/extra dimensional) child/offspring will use interdimensional shifts and what the hell why not time warps to help jane avoid capture by the pursuing agents of the cloning facility.

of course later, it will turn out that dick is an alien, one of many visiting earth who works as an ambassador from alpha centauri. dick will whisk jane and little [insert mutant child name here] off into the many colored sunsets on zeta cazauri where they will live happily ever after with his other creations.

And she's off...
