If any of you are remotely familiar with Floyd Mayweather, you know that he's undefeated and considered the highest paid athlete in the world. Do you guys think he's a legend or a hack? What are your thoughts about Mayweather?

Money puts in the work, but i'm not overly impressed with his career. His boxing skills are top notch, but he could lose a fight if he stood toe-to-toe with someone. To me, he's similar to Sugar Ray Leonard, but Ray had to FIGHT against Hagler and Hearns.

He's the best fighter in this era.

Do any of you think if he decides not to fight Pacquiao that his rep as the best fighter might be questioned? It seems to me this fight should have happened a decade ago perhaps.

He is a LEGEND of the SWEET SCIENCE, plain and simple...Haters will hate. As for Pacquiao...Floyd and his camp had reason to believe Pacquiao is/was "enhancing" his skills with roids. Pacquiao initially refused to be tested leading up to the fight...but it's easier for folks to just hate on Floyd. BEST OF HIS ERA, PERIOD

I saw a pretty lengthy video a while back of Floyd more or less explaining why he hasn't fought Pacquiao yet. In addition to what you mentioned, he said that Paquiao could have fought him at any time up until the point that his (Manny's) camp suddenly wanted to fight Mayweather. I find it odd that Paquiao dodged the drug testing issue but also thought he would go half on Floyd's Pay Per View revenue. Mayweather himself said that the opponents already know ahead of time that it's a 90/10 split for that. LOL

ummm, hard to be 46-0 or some ish like that and be a "hack". i know its a different era in boxin, but c'mon, the skills are legit! the last dude he fought actually made him fight. and dude threw like 400 more punches than Floyd but Floyd still landed over half of his own. he knows how to box! and there has arguably never been anyone who is as elusive as him

He goes toe-to-toe in spots most rounds, the difference between him and Ray is his defense and IQ, Ray took punishment when he didn't have to.

I thought the match back in May was pretty close but it was good all the way to the end. I like Mayweather and hope he keeps himself relevant even after boxing is over for him. I think he will go out while on top.

He's a great fighter! i wouldn't say he was a hack. But he's a huge asshole! and has a fucking horrible personality. One of the worst i've seen from a fighter in recent years. And that's saying a lot...

Yeah he's got some serious issues with domestic violence and other criminal activity outside of boxing. But as far as his persona in the ring, etc., I think he's tops.
