ok... tell me something strange you've done recently

be brave now

me?

i have a few of those talking animal apps (the dog, ben.. the cat etc) on my phone for the kids.... anyway, the last one i downloaded (a cat) needs to be looked after... when you don't, it sends you a message

i was in my music studio the other day (by myself) laying down some guitar tracks... i'd stupidly left my phone on and right in the middle of a solo, my phoned beeped... it was the cat telling me it needed me

so what did this grown man do?.... did i throw my phone in a fit of rage?... did i just delete the app?

no

i put my guitar down, took my phone out, and opened the app... i then got the cat out of bed and let it go to the bathroom ... i noticed it had flies buzzing around it so i gave it a shower... then i fed it and put it back to bed

i then picked up my guitar and redid the solo

i later told my wife how annoyed i was that this bloody cat app had interrupted my studio session... she asked me what i did, and when i told her, she laughed at me... a lot

the end

Yeah, me too! And strange things I did? Hmm, I saw a blue jaguar while taking ayahuasca in Peru, but I feel it doesn't count because at the time it seemed as normal as seeing a woman with a jaguar's head in her belly . I also took part in a tabacco juice ceremony which means everybody drinks tabacco juice (which tastes even worse than ayahuasca) followed by one or two litres of water and then everybody vomits out his or her bad experiences and frustrations. Yes, this is one of the strangest things I ever did.

I haven't been doing something that I normally do - and that's really strange for me

It's been hard to resist - but I've been strong

I hung out at after work for like a half hour. Usually I'm outta there with a swiftness...like a minute before I clock out...lol. But I found myself hanging out in the break room, chatting it up with people. WAAAAY out of the ordinary for me.

I suppose I'm insanely lonely or terrified of 5pm traffic....maybe both.

I mixed Sam's Club Cola Zero with vanilla flavored coconut milk! It was pretty good! No one else was game to try any.

I don't know how "strange" it is, but I traced a line of my family back to the Plantagenets.

I don't think this is so much strange to the average person but it most certainly is something that I normally wouldn't do...last night I researched locations of professional waxing spas because lately I've been curious and considering getting a brazilian waxing done for the first time.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

That's crazy cool... Because as we all know, The Plantagenets transformed England from a realm ruled from abroad into a sophisticated, politically engaged and independent kingdom.

I am actually descended from Geoffrey V of Anjou twice (that I know of so far). Once through Henry II and Eleanor of Aquitaine, and King John of Magna Carta fame - and once on the "wrong side of the blanket" through a mistress.

Another of my ancestors was tortured on the rack and executed for plotting against Elizabeth I.

10, 12, & 14

I just looked into Bali, for any place where you can get interconnecting rooms it's gonna be like a $10K deal (inc flights, accomm, food, transfers & attractions for 10 days) neutral

I need somewhere with some kind of kids club and I DO NOT want to cook for 10 days.

Will look into Hamilton Island now - thanks! wave

Yesterday, I woke up at 4am to go swimming (waking early is pretty strange for me), but I had no energy so instead I washed clothes, cleaned out my car and watched El Notte in the wee small hours of the morning.

If you will, so will I
