Random Babble: Stuff That Doesn't Fit Into A Thread - Part II

The other random babble thread got locked for some reason, so I thought I would create a brand new thread to (hopefully) keep it going.

* I'm taking a hiatus from Facebook. I wonder if anybody will notice and/or care that I'm no longer on there anymore posting? confused confused

* Did my usual cat sitting/cleaning at a couple's house where I go several times per week. They just had a new air conditioner put in about a year or two ago, but they don't seem to use it. whofarted WTF, why pay money to buy a new air conditioner and have it installed, and then it just sits there. I don't think money is an issue for them, since they both work and have well-paying jobs. Today, when I was there, the inside thermometer said the temperature was 80 degrees! disbelief I think I'm going to text the lady and NICELY ask her if she could PLEASE turn the air conditioner on when they know that I'm scheduled to come over to look in on their cats. It's not fun sweating like a pig on a barbecue, my face all red, and my clothes all soaked with perspiration. I always do a good job for them, and turning the air on is the least that they could do.

RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I need motivation to get my fat behind in the gym and exercise more, apparently walking several flights of stairs and becoming winded is to doing the trick. It would also help if I stop eating bad food but first things first, hit the local 24hour Fitness and work up a sweat or two.

  • 15 days until Bruno Mars!! dancing jig

  • I saw Alice Smith on Monday night. PHENOMENAL!!
It's a shame that crawling around on the floor in a bodysuit is valued more than actual talent and songs with lyrics deeper than a puddle. confused

  • Did you ever feel like "shade" was being thrown your way, but will sound petty if you address it?

Officiallly poor. (once again).

Living off of instant oatmeal but seem to maintain my 194lb weight. I refuse to give up on getting down to a size 12/10. I am 5'3" so that is not small by any means. I feel like I am not asking for too much here!!!

Don't their cats have fur? Do they have any ceiling fans on for the cats, etc?

Don't you hate when you tell someone you're busy when you answer the phone, and they attempt to proceed with a long-winded conversation anyway?

(The only reason you answered in the first place is because that person is relentless and would keep calling. rolleyes )

It's annoying when people say they don't notice a person't skin color. Why?
It's part of who we are... Don't pretend it doesn't exist.

Just embrace it and move on. neutral

Awww that's sad. Even though last year one could sense something was off, really off, had me a little upset, I thought they worked it out and got back on track, little liar, love ya though. Hope its not over someone. I don't know that would irk me a bit, granted it's none of my business, it still would irk me. But im willing to put money down its over a someone. Take a minute and breathe a little dude, love ya still no matter what, uh ok almost no matter what, we all got boundaries, I ain't gonna lie, I got mine. But i promise i wont be mean if it is over a someone, ok I'll make a sincere effort that could possibly fail, but I'll still make an effort. So where you moving to, hmmm??

Then again somebody may have lied, it happens a lot.

I can say one thing about this area, folks know when to cut out their shenanigans and carry their drunk asses to bed. Its all quiet outside. After this boring ass movie is over we going carry our tipsy asses to bed too. We had fun though.

I think my OCD is sometimes a roadblock that stops me from doing things. For my diet I wanted to do smooties and liquids but I felt like I couldn't afford it AND that because I'm away from home and the blender, I wouldn't be able to do it. So I wasn't planning on doing it.

Then yesterday I read somewhere that a person did 10 day juice fasts. And that made me remember that I read somewhere that someone did 3 day juice fasts. So now I'm thinking that I can do weekend juice fasts at least. That solves my problems of not being able to do it or afford it.

Doing it tommowrrow since I only thought about it this morning and already ate food. So this weekend it will be a one day fast.

Not an expert but try a one day juicing fast to see if it works for you. The fresher the juice the better it is for you though, so investing in a juicer is the best long term option but a blender and a strainer may be the most convenient and inexpensive short term option but leafy green would be a challenge. Maybe start with some practical smoothie recipes then you can ditch the straining part. Great time of year to experiment with flavors.

Yes! I can commit to at least one day for now.
