TrueBlood The Final Season

It starts tonight. I know some of y'all were sick of it a few season's ago but tell the truth and shame the devil, you know you'll be watching with me tonight. Who's in? And what do you want to see?

If nothing else I want that Sarah Newlin bitch found and tortured slowly by Pam, Jessica and Tara! woot!

I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

As soon as last season ended, I swore that I'd never watch that mess again. hmph!

I'll probably let curiosity get the best of me. pout

They killed Tara before the opening credits. There was no sign of Eric, other than Pam is still looking for him and the zombievamps are totally pointless.

Umm, Tara isn't really dead. If she was, then Pam, as her maker, would have sensed it and since she didn't show any reaction, my guess is that Tara is still alive.

Jason finally was cured of his blueballs, but I somehow still feel like he's going to get tired of his obsessive vamp girlfriend, kill her and eventually end up back with Jessica. Jessica's boyfriend is going to fall for Lafayette.

Other than that the episode was still focused on Sookie being such a "damsel in distress" as always. Poor Sookie, the town is blaming her for all of their H-Vamp troubles. blahblah bored2

Even with the lackluster first episode and the last two underwhelming seasons, I'll still watch to the end since I've been watching from day one. That and to me, Eric makes the show, so I'll need to see him one last time dressed in an all black suit drool

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I thought that, too... nod
But then I thought that she was so obsessed with finding Eric that it hasn't dawned on her yet. hmmm

well that was nice, i like it when they only focus on vampires and not on other creatures.

zombievampires are a cool concept...i like zombies, i like vampires...perfect mix LOL

more horror than other episodes.

and showing Jasons ass is always a good idea, although his "i'm gonna fuck you" line was really dump, made me laugh.

That's what I was thinking, too. However, when her nutty ass Mama went to hallucinating, I thought she may still be alive, as well. I just didn't appreciate the fact that they "offed" her before the credits rolled. That hit a very sore spot for me because of Hollywood's tendancy of killing the Black characters in horror movies first. And TB's doing it before the credits even rolled, straight pissed me the fuck off. So for the sake of my TB fandom, I really hope they didn't actually do that.

I thought the same thing about Pam not 'feeling' Tara die. I'm still watching and will until the end. hmph!

I can't wait to see Lala hook up with hot guy. love I didn't remember him from last season because they changed the actor from Luke Grimes to Nathan Parsons. I hate when they do that. mad Sookie's speech should have been more like Tyrion's to the court and his dad. lol Get pissed Sook. thumbs up!

So apparently Jessica's boyfriend played by Luke Grimes (blond) left the show because he didn't want to be involved in gay love scenes confused and was replaced by Aussie Nathan Parsons (right) from General Hospital and The Originals...

Good riddance I say... shrug

Sources say Luke Grimes was uncomfortable with gay sex scenes

TIME--June 26, 2014

Luke Grimes, the actor who played James on True Blood, reportedly left the HBO show because he was uncomfortable playing a gay character.

Grimes departed from the show in December for what HBO at the time called “creative differences.”

^You know Im kinda pissed that this has gotten so much attention when its all unverified. This "source" needs to come forward instead of fanning this "guy doesn't want to play gay."

Seems to me Luke got offered some plum movie roles and decided to ditch a dying, horrible written, barely watchable cable show and make the jump to stardom.

Luke says he left to do 50 Shades which IMO is much worse than True Blood. razz The show is not that bad Lazy... damn. lol

Oh Shades is gonna be a big horrible mess, but its gonna be a HOT horrible mess. Hes also doing American Sniper starring Bradley and directed by Eastwood.

Im hate watching this season cause last year was just rotten. Oh and Ryan's ass. smile

I certainly won't be spending a dime on that 50 cent shit. lol The books (of which I could only get through half a chapter) are horrendous. I don't care who's in the movie, it won't be hot. confused I'd rather watch Ryan's ass over and over than subject myself to 10th grade wanna-be erotica. razz

I honestly gave up after the first 3 episodes of season 5, and I loved 1 through 4. I will be watching The Leftovers tonight though because it's the perfect depressant for summer.

nod I'm going to definitely be watching The Leftovers too. I have a feeling it's going to be the next series added to my favorite HBO shows list which is:

The Sopranos

OZ

Six Feet Under

Rome

Game of Thrones

Boardwalk Empire

Sex and the City

Curb Your Enthusiasm

True Detective

This "The Walking Dead" meets "Bram Stoker's Dracula" storyline is so uninteresting. It's like the series is dying a slow death. lol The only good thing is that Lafayette's character has been the only consistency in the series. For me the Eric and Jason screwing storyline seems very delicate, as if they had 20 takes to make it perfect instead of realistic. I could have done without it...but Eric is sooo damn hot with all black on drool Jeeze.

Furthermore, why do they have Sookie playing the supportive girlfriend to Alcide, kissing him before he gets in the shower only for her to leave and go off with her first love vampire in the middle of the night for some dumb plan she has come up with? Dumb flag #1

Why is this the first time we haven't seen a parent vampire react to their progeny dying with only them "talking about it" in the next episode? Dumb flag #2

Why the dumb plan that Sookie has come up with easily kills Alcide when it shouldn't had? Dumb flag #3

Why are they dragging out the predictable love affair storyline between Lafayette and James? Dumb flag #4

Sarah Newlin is a non-factor but somehow, she's still in the cast with a storyline? Dumb flag #5

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.
