1 Mother, 6 children, 5 different fathers

A woman I know is single and is in this situation. What do y'all think?

Is it that bad?

What about the issue of so many granparents, cousins etc that are not shared amongst the half-siblings.

Or is it cool? neutral

I don't think it's bad per say, but I do think it's gonna prove to be hella complicated when the kids get older.

I mean, I have a cousin who has nine children, all from different mothers. The kids seem to get it though, and the older they get the more they understand.

Ask Alejandra Oaziaza about that...birthing Jackson "brousins". lol

Why the hell does she have that many kids from that many fathers? She doesn't believe in birth control? None of those guys wore condoms? Was she in a long term relationship with each one (singularly), which is why she thought it was okay to have children?

What's the backstory on that?

she must have issues - like insecurities - loneliness - fear of moving forward - desperately looking for love - esteem issues - wrong decisions
rolleyes
however many people stand under the umbrella of at least one or more of he above.

pray for her, or send her positive thoughts and maybe some spiritual hug sssss

If her children are loved, well cared and provided for, what difference does it make? None, other than people feel the desperate need to label her a whore.

I would think she has no sense of responsibility. She just gets pregnant and doesn't think or care of the consequences. 6 children? I wonder what she does for a living?? confused

I'm pretty sure I didn't see any mention of this woman caring or not caring...or any mention of her paticular circumstance at all...other than having 6 children with 5 different fathers.

Lots of women have 6 kids with one man. Is that bad as well?

She may be a horrible person, she may be amazing. I don't know...my only point is if these kids are well looked after, well that's all that really matters in this situation and people should fuck right off with their perception of her.

But yeah, I know, that's not how it works.

It's the father that has 9 kids with different women...how does that make any of the mothers of these kids "sluts"?

My comment was in reference to the subject of this thread: "1 mother, 6 children, 5 different fathers."

A man who has 9 kids with different women is a irresponsible, low-life scumbucket. shrug

Yeah, I was confused by your comment until I went back and read the post I replied to. (The part that was in red was what got my attention initially.)

I would think so. Mom gets knocked up everytime she's in a relationship with a man.

What kind of message does it send to her kids (regardless of how much they are loved).

Equally bad is that Daddy didn't care enough to stick around. What does that say to a child?

And every time this woman gets involved with a new man, she puts the children she already has at risk - risk of being abused by someone who doesn't care about them (or worse, sees them as an obstacle to getting what he wants), risk of poverty, etc. That ain't "motherly love."

Yes, equally bad about the Dad(s). Disgusting really, but perhaps they are in the picture. I believe that any woman that spits out 6 kids from 5 different men has serious issues. I'm not saying she doesn't love her kids, but she has self-esteem issues not to mention a serious lack of responsibility. I'm glad she's not part of my family because I would tell her to shut her damn legs and use birth control!
