Arthropods...

What's ur take on 'em?

Personally I find them... weird. I know it's racist but let me tell ya that I NEVER kill'em except mosquitos who r attacking me and potentially lethal (malaria and dengue here in South Asia), I respect their right 2 live and when I catch a big one I will gently "escort" it out of my crib but still I find 'em monstruous in many aspects.

I mean look at us beautiful vertebraes (and I mean all vertebraes not just humans or even mammals) and look at 'em with this exoskeleton and all these eyes and legs and shit and this (as far as we know) totally mechanical behavior they have... Yuk! To me they represent both monstruosity and an metaphysical anguish about life (I find it hard enough to be US, but the mere idea of what it must me to be THEM puts me in a panic!).

Most people tell me "they're just another direction life took and when u look how numerous they r it's a good strategy and we're no better than 'em" but still, I can't help wishing they wouldn't be here and there would only b vertebraes because their mere existence is anguishing to me.

Why would a sane God have ever created them (arachnids on top of 'em all?).

Do u think I'm crazy?

A little crazy, as an individual didn't make them. Their existence came from a long time of evolution...and that process has created an unknown number of wondrous and bizzare creatures.

And please don't worry about killing them. If they're where they shouldn't be...be gone with them. Killing a few thousand of the trillions insects that invaded your space is an expected impact on their population. Many exist seemingly(but not actually by any means) for the sole reason to be harvested by another animal.

Aardvark or the Budweiser frogs won't be hatin' cuz they short on meals...there's MORE than enuff arthropods to go around.

But yeah...they are very alien and icky in relation to other life.

I just got finished being startled like a scaredy cat fool by some June bug lookin thing that assaulted me while i smoked. And these fuckin silverfish keep showing up in the bathroom lookin like summin outta Metroid.

Oh gawd. Down in loosy-ana they have the big huge centi/mili-pede things....THAT B STOOPID. Whenever summin startles them, instead of scattering, they curl up into a circle. So u just end up crunching the whole thing when u step on it accidentally. And it seriously crunches...like lobster style. These things r huge...its fuckin GROSS.

California was very friendly to my barefooted nature. Down in loosy-ana...bare feet aren't allowed. Yo dumb barefoot ass gonna step on summin. And I'm not even getting to the cockroaches that RUN the city of New Orleans. Mitch Landreau, the mayor, don't run SHIT. Cockroaches run that city.

Haha have you just finished reading Metamorphosis by any chance lol?

Well they're not that monstrousous when you think about it...Cockroaches for example, people hate them because they're considered dirty but when you think about it really we made them dirty! They've been around on earth way before humans started existing, and before humans started polluting the earth, when bugs were just living in the nature, they were not "dirty". Also you only think they're ugly looking becuase you probably learned that a lot of them are harmful things at a very young age and grew up watching bugs depicted as "ugly" by the media <---- that's what my grandmother tells me and I really respect her thinking. But if I see them inside the house I usually throw things at them haha =3

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

i wish them all the best... while having both a penis and vagina might have it's benefits, i'm guessing it brings with it a whole crazy set of challenges

i am a killer...

i found out when i was just a baby

that i am a killer...

i found out i was a killer because

the first time i (knowinly) killed a bug

i cried about it all that day.

i was under the impression that

it's family and friends would miss it.

a grown up said somethin to me about

it bein the same as god killin people

i should be no more aware of what i kill

as god is about what it kills.

so, a life is a life OR no life is sacred.

i don't seem to carry the filter that

allows to separate one from the other eek

biggrin

i am KING BAD!!!
you are NOT...
evilking
STOP ME IF YOU HEARD THIS BEFORE...
