On the contrary, it got great reviews! One of the best reviewed movies of the year. 89% positive critics reviews and 95% positive from the audience.

Not bad once you get used to all those blue flares and weird complexion touch-ups.

Good story even I could follow without falling asleep once.

Nice to see the vintage planes

doh!

That is wild.

Swear to jeebus, when the movie came out, (I don't usually check out Rotten Tomatoes or those sites) the headlines on Yahoo! and AOL were like; "Can Captn America Succeed Despite Critics" and "Captn America Proves More is Less".
I didn't actually read the articles b/c I want to see it regardless, but they seemed pretty negative.

Shows me to actually log on to Rotten Tomatoes from now on. disbelief

Dom Hemingway (2013) - After spending 12 years in prison for keeping his mouth shut, notorious safe-cracker Dom Hemingway is back on the streets of London looking to collect what he's owed.

Looking at the reviews by both critics and the general public, I liked this movie more than most people. It was fun seeing Jude Law in this role. star star star 1/2

Les Demoiselles de Rochefort (1967) - Sisters Delphine and Solange (real-life sisters Catherine Deneuve and Françoise Dorleac) look for love in their small town of Rochefort.

This was almost as excellent as Demy's The Umbrellas of Cherbourg. It will be a must-own for me when the Criterion blu-ray is released later this year. star star star star 1/2

There's no bigger Woody fan than me. But I thought this was highly overrated. Just watched it for the second time. The exposition is really clumsy. Was shocked that it became such a big hit. Figured the references were too esoteric for a mainstream audience. But, then again, people love romance and a happy ending.

Wanted to like it but it kept failing me.

Formulaic and unbelievable.

I tried this, but only made it about a quarter of the way through. I just thought, "Why am I watching this?" lol

I'd rate it "okay" at best.... not a movie I'll watch a second or third time

also finally got around to watching Lord of the Rings trilogy after owning the set for at least 4 or 5 years

pretty much of a snoozefest neutral

The Harry Hill Movie 1.5 / 10 Very poor.

(Julian Barratt from Mighty Boosh is in it too). I like Harry Hill on TV Burp and the Harry Hill Show but this movie was just daft and not one bit funny. It even had scenes that looked like a copy from Might Boosh scenes but that didn't help either.Avoid.

Juno 5/5

An excellent movie. I enjoyed the acting more now that I know Ellen Page is gay. She pulls off the hetro girl role very well.

This movie was so disturbing to me. neutral I couldn't stop thinking about it even after a few days. Ezra Miller was amazing. I so wanted the dad to just go away though. mad star star star 1/2 because I can't believe no one got this psychopathic child help and the father was so stupidly useless.

Interesting fact that there are no product placements in the film because advertisers thought it was too controversial. confused
